West Virginia @ Virginia Tech

Why is this line only 2.5 / 3? Without some fuckery how does vt stay in the game?  mismatch on both sides of the line just to start…. 

Now the lines at 2/ 1.5.  What the hell is going on in Blacksburg? Can someone find the refs for this game please? 

I am on West Virginia as well.

I would point out VT has allowed only 12ppg while W Virginia has allowed 33ppg. The thinking may be that VT has an edge defensively.

Okay but where is the edge on defense for vt?

 Both teams were 6-7 last year.  Tech is 2-1 and WV 1-2.  Blacksburg is a tough place to play especially at night - crowd will be nuts.  Last year WV won a close game 27-21.  That is why line is small.  Tech was favored last week in this game. Public on WV - sometimes you can’t overthink it and play on the side you think will cover. Public isn’t always wrong.  I’m on WV - I think they are a lot better than tech and they already played a game in a hostile environment and have played 2 good teams.  Good luck 

If WVU stops the run and gets after the passer like they did vs Pitt, this game is theirs for the taking.  Va techs offense has been bad and the new regime is showing growing pains where as Graham Harrell has his offense humming.  Maybe Vatechs defense is just that good?  Hard to tell vs Old D and BC.  One thing I know is the pitt front 7 is legit and WVU was able to get the run game going and had a great offensive game aside from the final drive.

WVU has been playing better offenses.  Liepold has Kansas on the right track and Jalon daniels qb really hurt them with his legs.  They wont have to worry as much about mobility with Grant wells at the helm.  The WVU defense hasn't been great, but I think they get a reprieve vs the vatech offense and look better.  I believe wvu will get some stops and get to the qb much like they did last year.

I’m going to go with the “I don’t even know a water boy on the team so why speculate on something I don’t know anything about” angle… 

The only thing a gambler can really do is learn how to read a line when you don’t know anything besides what you hear… This line is gross. 

I will say I don’t see Vt dominating the game in anyway… there will be plenty of chances for a middle this game…. Why bet before the game starts on a shit line when you have live betting now is beyond me…. 

and yes… I already got suckered into wv at -3 when it opened as I thought this would rise significantly…instead it fell to virtually a pick…. I will be looking to get out of this when I can live. 

Don’t bet a game before it starts when you have live betting available now. It’s basically the only advantage you have as an average Joe and it’s a very small advantage so don’t get too excited as sometimes it still bites you in the ass,  Titans were a prime example Monday.
