What 3 or 4 teams do you have in the title hunt and why?

I would love to hear your opinions!

there are some hugely talented teams in the 10-20 range that no one is talking about

one of them will very likely sneak into the bcs title game

happens almost every year because the top teams feel too much pressure

in 2010, no one was talking auburn as they were not even preseason top 10, that's just an example

Bama, LSU, USC, and Georgia...for obvious reasons...I think Oregon will dominate its schedule, but would fail against all 4 teams above...OU may be in the mix, but they will have their hands full with my Longhorns...

I predict LSU will play USC for the title.

LSU, because of their O-Line, running game and defense and USC, because of their qb and passing game.

I'd make LSU a 2 point fave over USC.

The Most important thing in choosing a team or teams pre season for your national championship is scheduling. It's the most important factor in all of college football. Teams who dont have to play in a lot of hostile environments are more likely to play in the championship game, it's just a fact.

Im not ready to make my prediction just yet, because I usually wait until mid to late August to do that.

If I had to throw a few teams out there........... I would give you these, in NO order.

LSU
Wisconsin
Oklahoma
Alabama

One thing I will say for WIscy is that Obrien is not going to remind anyone of Russell Wilson.  RW was great LY and Danny Obrien has huge shoes to fill, which I see him having a medicore year, eeven though he has a great running game.

that not true phil steele had auburn as sleeper in 2011, i am still kicking myself for not ebtting them 50 to 1, i predicted they go 11-1, but i figured they would lose at bama at end of year game, that why i didnt bet it i thought bama woul go 12-0, auburn was down 21-0 that game werent they and came back and won, it was so gross, if i had seen newton play in jc the year before i surely wouldo f bet a dime on it lets not talk about that

lsu -2 vs usc in bcs title ? id think maybe more -5 or -6, usc schedule is weak, i agree this is a very possible matchup, if it happens i think lsu will kick the snot out of usc, hopefully all the LA jackoffs come to vegas and bet usc to keep the line low

id eliminate oregon just beasue it not likely they can beat usc 2 times in a season, and it very likely oregon vs usc will be the pac 12 title game, id give usc 2x better chance to beat oregon 2x, than oregon could beat usc 2x, i mean oregon lost as 15 pt chalk last year in eugene to usc too, no way they better this year, no way oregon can beat usc 2x this year, so you can eliminate oregon imo, am i right about this or what?

I don't think that it's inconceivable they split and one team still makes it to the national championship game.  If they do split, USC would probably be the more likely 1-loss team to go.

However, USC has no room for error.  If they lose, they're screwed.

*Wisky will choke somewhere....as will OU....USC will fade....Horns not ready but with win over OU could easily stumble onto something.....Ducks defensive rotation will smother depth thin Trojans (play like 25 guys)

Can't believe it took until DoubleUp4Life before someone said Arkansas.

Both tough games (LSU/Alabama) are at home, including LSU the last week. They beat Alabama Week# 3... they gotta shot to run the table until the last week of the season. Worth a shot?
