What Am I Missing With USC -9????

Hey guys. This line looks light to me. USC has superior talent and is coming off a bye week after being humiliated on the road at BC. The jury is still somewhat out on Sark as a coach but I think he has his guys fired up and looking to make a statement in their first conference game. Game is at the Coliseum where the Beavs haven't won since 1960. Speaking of the Beavs, they have a mediocre defense at best and offensively they don't have a ton of firepower beyond Sean Mannion. I see a 45-23 type game. What am I missing here and why shouldn't I unload on the Trojans???? Thanks BOL to everyone.

I see the same exact thing....Nothing popping up to say otherwise either...

You're way underrating OSU.  They have several former big time recruits on a talented defense.  Woods/Ward solid RB duo, two big time tight ends.  They could use an all star WR but have several capable ones.  Also they're 7-0 as a road dog last two years.

That 7-0 includes 1-6 ATS covers...Couldnt stop Hawaii...Manion will be chucking picks left and right

TSW, you make some solid points. OSU is one of those teams that really plays to their opponent- they play like crap against crap teams and play well against good teams. They also play better as the season goes on. But, like Wazee said, I think Mannion throws 3+ picks and this gets out of hand late.

If you watched how bad BC looked against Pittsbugh you wouldn't think they would win a  Div 1 game then they dominate USC ill pass laying points with USC

 Manion made some great throws vs San diego state despite being hit and preasured , they had a harder time last year with Sd St

 i have a feeliing OSU could be better this year if i play the game i'm taking points

USC should cover since OSU's best receiver is out for the game.

I hope the headlines don't read 'Beavers get screwed by Trojans' I love the beaver as much as Mr Cleaver did.

The GOY line was USC-16.5 before the season so in weird way you get value on USC because of the loss to BC but I wouldn't touch em.

Huh?  the 7-0 is ATS.  Couldn't stop Hawaii??? It was 38-7 going into the 4th qtr when the backups came in.  Mannion had a 37/15  TD/int ratio last year in over 600 attempts, and only has 2 picks in 127 attempts this year.

Bolden is out but I would consider Mullaney their best receiver.  Bolden was more of a scat back- Ward will probably fill in some at that role.
