What are the vets of the board thinking about the Michigan State/ Boise game tonight

Looking for a little feedback and discussion without reading through a bunch of new scrambled accounts.. I find it hard to believe Sparty can't cover that number with everything they return even though it's on the road and their opponent deserves respect. 

Not sure about the other game, this one will be a little personal out there.

oise is returning everyone including the ushers and ticket checkers, but excluding a QB + RB who accounted for 89% of the offence from last year. 

I am torn on what to expect. 

Can they plug in two relatively inexperienced cogs and keep the train running smoothly on the Smurf Turf? 

I want to say yes, due to Washington's lack of defense more-so the front 7. 

I'm looking to tease it down to about -5.5 with a 6 point teaser.

We know who their coach is. 

We also know who Michigan's coach is. 

That doesn't mean the talent level is raised because of a coach on the sidelines. Example: Jake Rudduck's incompetence.

I find it hard to believe Petersen will just come in there and not give his old team the fight of their life.. Teasing them up to about 16 or more sounds intriguing.

UW is in year two and has a underrated defense, I expect this game to be within to spread and more of a lower scoring game IMO.

I'm on the under in both JW....don't like either fav to blow the other out but like the u see more than the dog.

good luck this season jwheels,I am on Sparty to cover 16 1/2 tonight. I think Sparty has a rock solid team and shoule be right at the top with Ohio St this year in big 10,also agree with you and like a lower scoring Wash/Boise game.  My old Gopher team didn't play real well all game last but hung with TCU,just think Mich St starts out quick tonight.

Oddly enough this line hasn't moved much. The question is why? Western Michigan returns a pretty good football team. I really can't explain why..... but I think Western keeps this game close.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet... But im thinking about playing Western

They HAD a solid defense last year.  90% of that defensive squad is gone this year.  Only guy back is Buda Baker.  They may turn into a solid defensive squad with a ton of young talent.  But not sure you're going to see it first game out.

Under in the UW / Boise State game is a strong play.

Michigan State is coming into this season with a very solid team all around.  Connor Cook has unfinished business.

They were close to a NCAAF championship bid, so I think D'Antonio has them ready to smash opponents this season.

Think Michigan State easily covers.

Regarding Washington vs Boise State, it is personal.  Boise State's senior and junior players were recruited by Peterson.  I see them coming into this game with a chip on their shoulder.

Washington, lost nine starters last year.  While they're coming into the second year of the scheme - I think it takes some time for them to pick up steam.

Like Boise State-12 and the over.

Boise is the better team, but that's not how spreads work. Going with peterson aND wash. Also like western but 16.5 isn't a good number. Sparty has Oregon on deck.
