Nah, NIL has just leveled the playing field. Vanderbilt has more 5 times as much money as University of Alabama so not as surprising as it would have been in the past.

No they don't. They are a private Institution and the Enrollment was around 13,400 kids this year. The Enrollment to Alabama this year was about 40,800 kids. Vandy gets it's share of SEC money but has no facilities like Alabama. They also can't allow the lower standard of academics that a school like Alabama can. The NIL is so much better for the kids at Alabama because they are better athlete's. They are at a huge disadvantage to compete in football in the SEC.

Yeah they just played and won against Georgia. It was a huge letdown spot. The moneyline should of been much higher!

Based on the football, the money put into the programs is significantly in Bama's advantage.
The NIL is helping level the playing field but it's also about the 'spot'.
Bama on the road after big home win with a HC who never has played on the road in the SEC, it was Vandy's Superbowl.
And they played like it.
NIU vs Notre Dame too recently.
