 Have they ever played west of the Rockies?

 Figure it out. An entire team with zero experience ever playing out of their footprint at the home of their opponent.?????? How many 4700 ft mountains are in Florida? How many times have they traveled 2200 miles and 3 times zones over? Totally new for them. How well did Utah play in the Swamp last year?

You are also talking about a team who’s use to practicing in the summer heat everyday in the Swamp. The air being thinner will be a talking point because florida has not been in a true OOC road game since 1991 Vs Syracuse

 Traveling to move is different than traveling to play a football game.  Cross country travel  affects NFL players and they do it far more often.?? Does Florida even know how to book a room in Utah? They haven't had to do anything like it in decades. This game is literally brand new for Florida.A majority of Florida players are from Florida too. They flew into Salt Lake City at 5pm local time yesterday because they were concerned about acclimating. Trying to avoid acclimating...

Florida doesn't travel cause they, like a lot of programs want gimmie out of conf wins. I hope, and expect them to get throttled tonight.

They also left a day earlier to miss the hurricane and spent the night in Dallas.

 so this is the  your reasoning why utah might win i guess it has nothing to do with the fact if they win they will beat fla in the trenches with strength and speed and good playmakers and im sure some calls from the refs to go their way

Florida is altering its travel plans for the team's season opener at No. 14 Utah on Thursday night, hoping to avoid Hurricane Idalia.

Florida coach Billy Napier said the Gators will practice in Gainesville on Tuesday before flying to Dallas to spend the night there. The team will then travel to Salt Lake City on Wednesday.

So, one flight to Dallas, stay there, then travel to Salt Lake City. Would assume travel means flying again?? And spend the night in Salt Lake and play Thursday. 

Last minute travel change, what can go wrong?? 

I’m leaning Utes to get it done, Florida blows, if cam was 100% & had been practicing all summer I’d smash the Utes, still thinking I may bet it at less than 6

 Huh? Florida isn't good in the trenches. They have 4 new starting lineman. 2 transfers at RG and RT and new starters at LG and LT. They may also be missing starting center tonight who is questionable. They are also very thin having 8 offensive lineman leave over the summer. They don't have Richardson to run around and bail them out either. 

On defense they lost their  best players on defense their on an already bad defense. (Gervin, Cox, Torrence) They are starting 2 transfers on the DL. The travel and elevation only amplify the advantages. You don't think Florida had a distinct advantage playing at home last year? It's not like a conference foe where they are used to the conditions.
