im still confused on why most people here love ASU tonight. The only thing in ASU's favor that i see would be motivation. on the other hand i dont think texas would want a PAC 10 team to take away thier pride.
the coaching factor. is erikson that much better than mack? i would have a hard time arguing this one. i see it level.
i havent seen texas play but i have seen ASU state. in all 3 games that i watched Carpenter was sacked numberous times and thier running game didnt impress me at all. On the other side their D was horrible. granted they were playing USC, Oregon, and a subpar Arizona team but after watching those game i have a hard time backing them against a less talented, but still very athletic Big 12 team. With the running game and arm of Mccoy (sp?), i see texas winning by at least a touchdown.
i also would play the under if choosing...bu i probably wont touch it.

I HAVE seen Texas play several times and in my opinion they are a very over-rated team. They were beaten badly by a mediocre Kansas State team and aTm ain't much to brag about either. Texas struggled in several games and were very fortunate to beat Ok. State. If their name wasn't Texas and were say, Iowa State they would be a touchdown underdog in this game. Texas isn't a great football team this year.
I have also seen Arizona State and although I agree they have their weaknesses they are a much better all around team than Texas. In my opinion they are better offensively passing and running the ball and they are significantly better than Texas defensively. Once again, these are all my opinions from the games I have watched.
I also think this game means a lot more to the Sun Devils than the Horns for a variety of reasons.
That is why I think and am in fact betting that Arizona State wins. In fact I think they win by more than a touchdown.
