no action, but was watching the 4th quarter for all the MACTION, that surely seemed to have happened. Even as a pathetic degenerate I have learned to hold off from weekday maction. hilarious stuff.
but concerning the play...he definitely got the first down, so they had to accept the penalty....since the play was not a dead ball stoppage (false start etc) then the previous timeout on 2nd down would hold up and 3rd down would start on the snap.
since it was a "live foul" play being a holding, the clock is set to 25 seconds and starts on the "ready". total bullshit rule that MUST be addressed moving forward.
if im a coach and in that situation I take advantage of that rule all day by setting up a blatant hold or a "chop block" where the ref will see it. obviously it wasn't done on purpose on this play, but it is a loophole I would surely take advantage of to end a game.
they were not going to kick a fg if it was 4th and inches from the 20, especially with whats gone on this year regarding that. they would have gone for it 4th and inches. if stopped then Toledo had one play to score a td from 80 yds.
word of wisdom....much more enjoyable watching the cluster that is MACTION from the sidelines being able to laugh at it than losing money on its bullshyt.
just to name a few in the 4th alone
-leverage
-pass interference push off
-NIU not going for 2? to make it a 6 pt ballgame
sit back and laugh next time fellas
