Auburn has had a nice run filled with miracle tip passes, opposing QB's getting injured and miraculous field goal returns.
Hail War Eagle!!!!
But it all comes crashing down this week.
The fairy tail dies.
Here's why:
- Mizzou has a very good offense, will be able to put points up against Auburn. If you look at both team's offense and defense, Auburn's defense is the week link here.
- Auburn ran the ball up Bama's a$$, but Mizzou is a different animal than Bama. Mizzou will attack Auburn's run game with their speedy front 7. Mizzou ranks in the top 10 in the country in tackles for loss and sacks (bama is in lower 3rd, they were on their heels against Auburn). Negative plays will results in Auburn facing some 3rd and long plays and it won't end well.
- Mizzou's run defense has limited every SEC opponent under their season rushing yard average. They held S. Car and Florida under 100. Trend continues.
- Auburn just had one of their biggest wins ever against its hated rival, ESPN keeps showing the play as the greatest play of all time. There will be a hangover. Missouri is still Missouri, there is no possible way Auburn is able to bring the same intensity it did against 'Alabama' as it did against 'Missouri'.
- Auburn's AD was on TV this week lobbying for Auburn to play for the national title game if they win. Never a good idea, this is just distracting and Mizzou is at home saying, 'hey, what about us?'
Its been a great run for Auburn, but it all comes crashing down saturday evening in the SEC championship game. Mizzouri is the better team, will be the team with the chip on their shoulder and gets the W.

With you Abizzo24. Think Mizzou will throw the ball more than Bama tried which is where Auburn is weak. Bama tried to run a little more than they should I think because AJ was a little off early and the wide outs didn't help him early. Think Saban tried not to lose the game as he has done in the past. It came back to bite him against Auburn once again. In 2010 and this year. Like I said though Auburn is weak in the db department and Mizzo has huge receivers that should be able to make plays that will keep Auburn O on the sidelines.

I agree with you completely. I think mizzou wins by 10+. Pinkel has not shown great coaching prowess in the past. And contrary to Train, i think auburn has the edge coaching wise. HOWEVER, the iron bowl was slightly mis-portrayed imo, as i think Saban coached to not lose and not to win. I personally think that changed the entire outlook of that game. And i don't think it will be happening in this one. For whatever reason, the new OC I believe, Missouri has been calling games differently. And that will play a hug part in them winning this. That and the fact theft their defense is built more to defend this type of offense attack that Alabama's is.

very dangerous game for auburn....this is usually the game pinkel will lose but mizzo will be sky high and there may not be any tipped balls or 109 filed goal returns left for war eagles.....auburn better have it strapped on tight.....very close game gl to all...

Is that your "x's and o's" Abizzo??? U havent said one this year that was remotely close to being true, or in agreeance with me. And Im killing them right now. So thats where we stand.
Im starting to think u play for the other team.
You have been saying "Go ahead take Auburn last 5 weeks"
This is 5 Auburn fades in a row. Did it even register that Auburn was getting 10.5 points vs Bama u call them lucky. Even if u win this you are still a joke. You logic is childish at best. You couldnt rate talent or strategy in a wet tee shirt contest. Im just being honest
Best of Luck

I lean mizzou only because their 1 loss came from 4th are collapse when starting an was injured for game. Although mauk played well in relief. Auburn has had 3 miracles this season. Miss st, Georgia & bama. Not to mention mizzou stopped Johnny last week from performing his usual 5 miracles. But it's too close for me to wager, considering auburn is having such a magical season,it could continue. Good luck to all this week

I've faded aub 3 times. Still feel like i was on the right side in 2 of those. Bama game not so much.
Rather than resort to name calling we'll let this be settled sat. I'll be sure to check back with you then.
U been talking about fading the vs. Arkansas you said quote "Arkansas beat up back into a corner, blah blah blah.
U told me about Tennessee
U told me about Georgia
U told me about Alabama
Now its Missouri. That 5 times. U dont know what your talking about.
Ok cool now if Missouri beats Auburn you are the man, this one game is gonna make me pay my respects to you. U pay up. Last time I checked the loser pays the winner collects.
I will get u some of your old post to show what U and I said exactly

ark off bye week, wounded animal backed into the corner, i would stay away from auburn personally.
Thats what u said. And this is what I said. This was the first of 5 games of you saying Auburn is not the pick
Posted: 10/30/2013 3:16:25 PM
Auburn is the pick, Arkansas defense is garbage. Arkansas will score on Auburn, but wont keep up. Auburn wins by 14+.....Ive heard nothing but excuses and conspiracy angles on this thread.
At the end of the year, u are going to be kicking yourself that u didnt take Auburn last 4-5 games. They will drop 40+ points on everyone from here on out
The line should be -13.5

I stand by everything i said. The only pick i dont like after the fact was the bama game, and we both know that could have easily gone either way. So u stand here with your chest out like u've accomplished something. Auburn has gotten extremely lucky with some fluke plays and key injuries. They are not a top 5 team and we'll see that this weekend.

Didnt post a pick on tenn stache.

auburn should be faded. you'll see saturday stache.
thats what you said to me prior to the Tennessee-Auburn game the game was on 11/9 this was in reference to Tennessee
Here is what I said about the Tennessee Auburn game:
Posted: 11/9/2013 12:24:41 AM
Auburn is not over-rated. Auburn wont have a let down. The line is 7.5 cause the betting public doesnt fully grasp what Auburn has turned into. They are a different team then the beginning of the year. People think Tennessee is gonna have a huge game at home because of this years track record at home. But if u look deeper into those two great home games for Tennessee, Georgia was coming off the emotional LSU game in a let down position. Tennessee had a bye before South Carolina and was well rested. But looking at the numbers of the South Carolina game. Connor Shaw played a horrible game, 7-21 for only 161 yards. South Carolina still rushed for 5.2 a carry.
Expect Auburn to run all over Tennessee. They wont have to pass much maybe 15 attempts. Tennessee is on its 4th back to back against really physical rushing teams. I dont see where they are going to draw all this energy to stop a hurry-up run heavy offense scheme that hasnt been stopped the last 3 games. I see Auburn averaging 5.8-6.2 a carry vs Tennessee.
I know Tenn QB Dobbs will play better then last game vs Missouri. He is still a true freshman with 1 game under his belt and they def would have a better shot vs Auburn if Worley was playing.
Auburn is motivated, they have bigger goals, and an offensive scheme that doesnt have letdowns.
I think its risky to put money against Auburn.
I have it 34-20 Auburn

Stache, that was the one sentence i said about that game in the entire forum. Was that a posted play? No, it was more than anything me talking unnecessary trash in your thread as u have done in mine.
Now, regarding your analysis on that game i have to admit, it was pretty spot on. Though this week all u give is a weak writup basically saying auburn wont have a letdown, they get it done. Your writup was weak along with auburns chance of winning this game.

Abizzo, you're a joke of a capper with nonsensical analysis. Also, it's a weak week for you.....see what I did there? You've picked against AU week after week and give your amateur reasoning which has been wrong consistently. You are just plain not good at capping.
