Last week S Florida +9 1st H (Gators line was -16) was a winner for me . Just waiting on Tenn 1st H for this week. Gators been starting slow and in Neyland crowd can help keep it close. Vols were actually winning last week 13 -3 before they gave up 30 or 40. gators -14.5 now, gimme those first half points!

I think I like the Vols here........I don't think Florida will go on the road for the first time this year and shine.  Tenn came out playing very well and very hard until the 1 hour delay last week due to weather.  Then the wheels came off.  They will be jacked up for the game and Florida isn't playing with confidence right now.  They look like they are playing scared to mess up????  Maybe Urban has been too hard on the youngsters???  Florida isn't the same team as years past.  This is a nice spot to grab some points.

I like Florida here...Tenn did play hard the 1st half vs Oregon but just plain ran out of gas in the 2nd half & had no answer....I see the same thing here....

I agree, could see Tenn getting great value here..right now its sitting at 14.5..should go up.  Florida is lacking confidence, look for Tenn to get revenge at home.

I just don't think UT has the players to stay in the hunt this year, even if UF is having an off season. I like the Gators.

Defense of FL's will be too much...they may pitch a shutout and will score at least 1 TD. Depth is a problem for UT...no such problem on the FL side. FL offense showed signs of life in 2nd half last week.

14 pts is too much in any SEC game to me, except this one, ten is young and need more time to grow, after watching that gaem last week, i am covinced Gators will put their first ass beating in this season's game.

hey kids: tennessee is a mess....now they are covered up with staph infections. They have nothing>Florida sucks too. give up the points here...take florida. better coach..... I also like arkansas this week. they will win with the best qb in the land. also watch  memphis this week: middle tn game....the qb for middle tn state is still suspended...he is the key to a big win. U of memphis wins this one. Their first home game and they now have a beter grip on who wants to play. that's my three local spins

Trifecta - I thought I remembered you were from the area from past posts.

I am too but I live in Cali. now.

So far, Memphis football has been my favorite fade of the year (sad but true - it's just business right?).

I was wondering what was up with the missing line here and thanks for the info.

As for your logic, I still worry that Memphis football is SO bad they'd struggle against this team that beat them last year - though they did manage to score some points last week didn't they.

And yes, the MTSU QB is a real player.

I still don't see a line up yet though.
Am I just missing it?

TN simply lacks talented athletes on the front lines, and with their depth.  Afternoon game in the low 90's, I see Florida completely shutting down the TN offense (if that is what it is) and wearing them down in the 2nd half.  Meyer loves to pile on when he smells weakness. UF has struggled in both games but they are good enough to cover this line.  TN coach said his team quit last week.  No talent, and know no heart. 

Taking Florida and laying the points.  Medium play only because line is above 2 TDs.

Florida is 1-5 ATS in the last 6 SEC games. Tennessee is 7-3 ATS in the same role.

Florida is no Oregon this year, and barely a top fifteen team right now. U.T. is pissed. Dooley won't let another game of mental breakdowns happen again like with Oregon.

The line is now Tennessee + 14. Jump on the Vols you are getting great line value on this game. Tennessee is 11-2 ATS after 1 or more losses in a row ATS.

I really like Tennessee here.  Florida has looked less than impressive in the first two weeks.  I know Tennessee got rocked last week against Oregon, but Tennessee should be able to get up for Florida.  Atleast enough to cover 14

I cannot believe all the folks that are on UT in this game.  Everyone must be thinking that it is "old" UT.  Well, the 100,000 fans will be there at first, but it will thin out, just as it did last week when ORE woke up and whipped the hapless Vols.  Meyer is getting his team together now and has had two decent prep games to get ready for SEC play and they catch UT in a rebuilding year here.  UF's pass defense will completely shut down the weak passing game that the vols have anyway and force them to run.  Line has dropped to -13.5 for UF this morning and I have hit it with 5 units (still trying to get back my big loss against Miami OH).  This shouldn't be close, and if it is it will be because of more mental errors from UF.

Rethinking this one, UT doesn't have the talent true enough but with the Gators being on the road against a rival 13.5 may be to many to give here ??  Its the SEC after all !
