Virginia Tech's D should be able to contain the GT offense.. My question is can Virginia Tech score?

After that loss to ECU last week at home, no way no how do I trust this VT team to cover any chalk at all !!

This matchup is totally different for VT, Tech is more one dimensional than ECU and they play them every year...with success.  Tech has struggled this year, gave up 28 in the 2nd half to Georgia Southern last week at home.  VT will play with a chip on their shoulder, they are at home and have superior athletes.  VT wins and covers.

I expected a big letdown from VA Tech after going to Ohio State and winning. I also expect them to come back and play well again this week after what is probably a hard week of practice.

These teams always play each other tough, but bet GT heavy.  You won't regret it.  The GT running game will be too much for VT defense.

This will a boring low scoring game, I like GTECH to cover maybe even a out-right win on the road.

I'm all over the under 52 in this one. The total in the last seven games in this series went over that number ONCE!  Frank Beamer is 6-1 in the last seven meetings against Paul Johnson Yellow Jackets.

After getting embarrassed at home last week I expect a focused Hokie squad.This is a conference-divisional game so it means a lot on the Coastal side. I like the consistency in this series so if aint broke then don't try to fix it. Take the under!

Seems the line is set for people to take GT with just above a TD.. that being said, Covers consensus for what it's worth is showing a 50/50 spread.. I'm going with the better D and laying the 8.. I think they come out focused and play some lights out D.. I just hope the Hokie offense can put up a few scores..
