There are many elements of each team that I study and analyze before deciding on a play. It's pain in the ass especially with no staff. With so many games to review, NFL and NCAA teams combined, it's almost a full time job. I narrow it down to just handful of plays (the more you bet, the more you lose). So I try to stick with two or three top picks each week. You want to keep it above 60% and play with House money!
Coaching is very important aspect of the game and so is QB among other factors (O line, defense, line move, weather, etc.) In this Monday game between Mississippi and Louisville, both teams have good QBs that can light it up but Mississippi's QB is slightly better. With Lane Kiffin out due to testing positive for Corvid, you have to give slight edge to Louisville on coaching. Jeff Lebby, the Offensive Coordinator for Ole Miss will probably call the plays and he has good resume coming from Baylor and UCF (coached Milton McKenzie at UCF).
I believe both teams will score so over 74 is my play for this game (2 cows). I also tend to lean slightly on Louisville +9 (1 half chicken) and want the points for a backdoor cover now that Lane Kiffin won't be coaching.
My first week in NCAA is 4-0.
(Wins: App St., Michigan, Florida St., and over on Florida St/ND) - all posted here on Covers.com
Let's keep this going. Again, playing big on the over.
