I am a nebraska fan and as much as I like martinez, he is a very inconsistant player and yes he often pulls out game altering plays that look spectacular, but he also makes a lot of bad choises as well, I actually think that the huskers will be a BETTER TEAM with TOMMY ARMSTRONG, he is more of a pocket qb, but he can run the ball as well when needed , not like martinez, but he is a much better passer, nebraska has a lot of talent right now at the wide receiver an te spots and they have one hell of a running back in ameer abdullah, ARMSTRONG will make nebraska more of a complete team, having said all that from listening to coach pelini he has stated that when martinez is ready he will start, I do not feel that it will be this weekend vs purdue though, with armstrong at qb I feel much more comfortable as opposed to when martinez is in their, martinez is always 1 step away from a terrible interception or a 50 yard run, you never know with taylor, with armstrong you get some consistancy in their, which is what I think they need,

Sounds as if Martinez is out for this wknd which I agree with the above post; Armstrong makes the Huskers a better team. I fell for the Purdue at home NIU trap. Purdue got shredded up on defense. Not sure how this game wouldn't be much of the same

Nebreska will pound the rock vs a team that is allowing 5.4 ypc and lost by over 30pts @ home to Jordan Lynch and NIU last week. Taylor Martinez being out won't be such a big deal. His backup looks to be a competant one.

Line may be dropping based on the QB situation with the Huskers (which I don't see as an issue) or the books trying to lure more Husker money. IMO I normally don't let line moves throw me off too much. Go with your gut, my gut says the Cornhuskers by at least 20.
Purdue has only one advantage here that I consider and that is home field...other than that Purdue is just terrible.
Granted, I may not have any valuable insight like the rest of my fellow degenerates on this site and Purdue could get a SU win for all I know...but I digress.
