Too Much chalk to cover for USC , UCLA always play them tough.USC is not that good this year, hurts me to say it but it is true.

Coach Carroll normally has his team ready after a bye week going 19-7 ats and this rival game has the home team at 19-8 ats. I know this is not the same USC team as of late but I think they can start off strong at home. By the looks of UCLA's stats they don't have much of a running game..

I'm nervous that my friends are on the other side of me on this one but...

USC had 14 days to prepare for this season saving game against hated UCLA. Don,t think for a minute that Pete Carroll will not have this young but talented team ready to play....

UCLA at USC -12 o/u 46.5

USC is coming off a bye week after a big home loss to Stanford. But it was Thanksgiving and not much practicing went into the short holiday week.

USC is still a brand name public fav and have a horrible record vs the spread 2-8. Looks like books have had to pad the USC pt spread to make the sides even. Not saying they are overrated but they kinda are.

On the other hand UCLA is a dog with bettors and has winning ATS of 6-5. They have a 3 game win streak but over the bottom of the PAC10 (Wash, WashSt,and AzSt combined record of 8-24)

Before that UCLA lost 5 gms in a row losing by 8, 14, 19, 14, and 7 pts to the top half of the PAC10.

USC is better on overall in stats than UCLA except for FGs. UCLA has an excellent FG kicker that will probably go pro. They have the best red zone scoring in the PAC10 because of the FGs.

Expecting USC to run and UCLA to pass.

UCLA is saying this is their best chance in years to upset the Trojans and seeing how close the rivalry games have gone this week, UCLA may draw some incentive from the other underdogs that did well.

Taking UCLA and the 12 pts 
(its up to 13 now, might be worth it to buy a pt to 14)

I may not have learned my lesson of riding super powers on the decline but damn...SC coming off of a bye and giving this "lowly" intercity rival less than 2 touchdowns. I mean someone had to believe they can cover to keep setting the line so high unless they want to catch people such as myself who do not know how to jump off the train.

Just like OU, i believe SC will beat the crap out of UCLA

 Damn! I didn't know Coach Carroll had it in him to do that...if I knew he did I would have wagered on the final as well .

I know UCLA got pissed at that but they did call a timeout when USC was in victory formation just kneeling the ball.
