Stoops has his Wildcats playing pretty good football ! A below average LSU team beat in state rival ULM by 31 ........ I think this Kentucky team will cover 20 points.

Lot of chalk, but you are right RS, Stoops must have them boys practicing with Calipari and co. I am just a little too scared to drink the Blue Kool-Aid just yet though 21 is a bunch. GLTA

Way to many points...two SEC wins against very average teams doesn't make you a 20 plus favorite against ANYBODY... Especially if your UK Football. Need to see a lot more from them before we crown them WORLD BEATERS.

Kentucky is on the rise and stoops does have them playing well and they should cover this spread. With that said I think they have a little bit of a let down here after the big victory last week. I'll take the points

Forecast is calling for showers and this is a prime letdown game for UK. Another distraction with a backup LB dismissed from team for sexual assault. Suspended players from last week reinstated this week. Think Stoops gets out ahead early, then plays it safe. Focus will be on defense for UK as well.
Small play on UK first half at -13.5.
UK 27
ULM 10
Good luck!

That's Tubman and he is a true freshman that is being redshirted. So he would not even figured into this game at all. Furthermore, Stoops was interviewed earlier this week and he said he knew charges were pending last week before the USCjr game and it didn't seem to distract them in that game, did it? You may be right as Ky still may not cover, but it will not have anything to do with Tubman's situation.

I had posted on a different thread last Sunday that fading Ky today is the play. However, I have come full circle and I do believe Kentucky wins by 30+ today and here is why:
1) Weather forecast today is good.
2) Eliot and his defense were not happy at all with their performance last week in stopping the run. Today, Ky's front seven will be looking to re-establish their confidence in shutting down an opponent that is has an already putrid and over-matched offense.
3) I do not think this team has a letdown in them. Stoops has been fantastic at selling to his team the idea of continued improvement with every game.
4) Neal Brown obviously held back the reins with Towles against Ohio and Vandy. The coaching staff trusted the defense to hold the lead late in those two games for lack of confidence in Towles' decision-making. I do not think we see that today because this is the last "cupcake" (for lack of a better term) on Ky's schedule and the last chance Ky has of building some depth with their 2nd and possibly 3rd team. In order to play those guys, Ky will first run up the score to obtain a very comfortable lead.
5) Furthermore, even if we do go "run heavy" (Neal Brown's words not mine) and not allow Towles to throw it around, you can expect a lot of big plays by our backs. I look for Boom Williams (who was suspended for last week's game) to have particularly big day and make amends for his transgression.
5) Lastly, have you seen the injury report for ULM? Their defense will be without 3 starters today. Not good news for a defense going against an offense looking to pile things on.
Anyway, that's my thoughts. Ya'll enjoy the game!
