tpowell -  i agree - wisc could have defeated unlv by 80+ if they wanted to, but they screwed around after they got up big and either pushed or did not beat the 35 point spread.   WSU is no Wisc, but they have a chip on their shoulders for many years of poor play.   WSU may be bottom 40 still, but they are no longer bottom 10.   in essense, they are making progress, even with the loss of their starting qb.

Please tell me you're comparing WSU's offense with Wisconsins.  I need a good laugh, I don't care about their offense last year, they went 2-10 with a QB that now has a broken collarbone.

Honestly, the only reason UNLV scored any points at all was because Wisc was up by so much and got complacent on D versus a no name team.  Wisc has shut out Oregon St 21-0 in the first half.  Granted OSU was upuset by a non D1 school at home last week.  But, if Oregon St. were playing UNLV and giving 13.5, I would take OSU.  

Yes, Wash St was 2-10 last year.    But, I think they are improving and motivated.   I don't know if anyone really knows whether or not UNLV is respectable or not.   I do know that Wuff's job is on the line and he and his staff are desperate for a solid win that they can build on.   I believe Wuff needs to win 5 to save his job.
