Ad Blocker?

Question

Really, I need an ad blocker to use your site? The same ad blocker someone else commented on saying your site kept crashing. Several people including myself have complained about the popup ads hijacking your tabs and using an ad blocker is your answer? Wow. This site used to not ever have these issues. This is a great format but you need to fix it like it used to be. Its so frustrating trying to play a contest, click on a forum thread, click scores, etc only to have an entirely different page come up. I don't need an ad blocker on any other website I visit so why yours? It usually takes me multiple times of refreshing your page to get through to what I am trying to click on.

I know those are not ads we support, one thing that has seemed to help other users with these pop-up ads is an adblocker for your web browser(as an addon within your web browser). One that others have suggested is "Adblock Plus" and has seemed to correct these issues for them.

We are always working on and adjusting how advertising is presented, and we will continue to pass along all feedback regarding how that is being received. That said, it does sound like you are experiencing pop-up ads that are not originating from our website as well. That could possibly be helped with an ad blocker, or deleting your cookies and then reloading the website. Hope that helps.
