Can't Create Thread "Too Many Characters"

Hi, I've tried multiple times on both mobile and PC to create a thread in NFL betting regarding my picks this week. I've gotten that my message is greater than the 4000 character limit every time. I've tried w/ 2200 characters, and even < 2000 characters and continue to get the same error...

Am I just not allowed to create a thread there yet?

You should be able to create that thread as you've been registered on-site for over 24 hours now. Try clearing the cookies/cache and then reloading the website. If you are still unable to create a thread after that let us know.

I was able to create a test thread under your account to confirm you are able to create threads outside the Help Forum.

Is the post you are attempting to create a copy/paste from somewhere else?

Yes, I pasted it into Word and have been cutting from there. The full post is over 4000 characters, so I broke it down and copied/pasted from there. Is there no way to "clear formatting" or something of that matter? My post isn't even near the 4000 character count I don't see how we're getting an additional 2K characters.

I am not sure how/why it is registering so many additional characters but have seen other users have problems in the past trying to copy/paste that much text into a forum post.

I will send a note off to IT so they can look into why that is happening. In the meantime, I am under the assumption if you typed out your posts in the forums themselves you would not have this issue. I'll update this thread once I hear back from IT.
