Hey all,

Not only that, but it was an excellent way to communicate with other members of the forum. What's the harm having it? It's just software and for those that used it, was great. Bring it back please.

yeah that makes no sense to get rid of it. Seems like Covers is going backwards in technology instead of forward. It was also great for contacting a Mod.
It's a mistake. Many use the PM even if the overall use is less than before.

There has been a consistent trend with Covers to decrease the accessibility to and quality of customer service.
That seems to be something that will no longer be any priority whatsoever with this website.
The last interaction I had with someone by phone was marked by a poor attitude and a short dismissive tone.
When corporate ownership takes over, they will pursue revenue streams and profits over service. People who use the site for analysis of data are not profitable.
Only if they become customers of the advertisers. Why is the format constantly changing to reduce the ease to pertinent data?
Also the failure to maintain a system that consistently accurately records results. Every season MLB results go missing. Other websites don't have this problem.
I still use the site, but have had to use other sites to fill in the evermore constant reduction of historical data that I use.

Other than phone calls which I have not bother with, I know everything else to be a correct description of my years on covers, original site was so classic, we even had our own home site where you could message others, post your plays to friends and message back and forth without mains. Places to keep track of plays and trends you notice or anything you wanted. Signed in one day many years ago and it was gone, everything you ever wrote in it or records you had kept there, gone just like this one, the last feature covers had that was unique.
Look at baseball match up page today, 2 games that are over still listed as playing, Cubs rainout not posted and game still listed to bet on, not the same place we joined many years ago, but it is a free site but it was better when it was not an ad site for books.

Great, thanks a lot, would it have killed you to send an email about that or to put it on the main forums? I had people who don't post anymore and that was our only way of connecting, I also had some info and chats in there that I would have saved had I known it was gonna be deleted.
