I've just started capping MLB again, after not doing it the last few seasons. I've noticed that there can be a huge swing in lines, from open to close. A couple of questions:
1 What is the cutoff time for setting the final line on the Covers MLB scores page? Is up to gametime, or 10 minutes before the game, or some other amount of time? I'm trying to get a feel for the "late steam" factor. For example I don't want to take a team at -127 30 minutes before a game, then see the price drop to -115 10 minutes before the game. So, how long before the start of a game does the line move?
2 Does Covers use one particular book for determining the closing line, or is it a consensus of all the books listed on the matchup pages? The line is often different from what I see at the books I use. Maybe I need to open a couple new accounts so I can get better prices in certain games.
Thanks

The Covers line can move right up until the game starts. Since we are collecting lines from numerous books, the closing line may not be posted until after game time.
The Covers line is influenced by the lines from all of the books you see in the matchup pages. It is generally the most common line available among the books.

Is it possible to change your Scores & Odds page to have the row with the books names/logos stay on top of the page when scrolling down? One of your competitors has this and it is a beneficial feature.
Thanks, Bart.
