What's it been since the initial complaint? 2 months? Can't put in a dash into font-face? Really?
Trying to post this getting "the forum does not exist" - then I try again and receive: "wait 10 minutes before creating a new thread" - so it did post?
Try being on MLB forum and switch back to old side you get "site does not exist".
With such small things like error handling and fonts (fonts? Really?) whoever is doing your work is definately opening you up to getting hacked, I don't care what framework they are implementing.
Sorry to be so harsh, but the 3 day weekend makes it all better because I have the whole thing off.

We are aware of the issue going back to the old forums and the IT guys are working on a fix for this.
As for the posting limitations, I will bring that up to our developers and see if this is something that can be done. It does make sense to allow users active on the forums for more than 6 months to not have these limitations. I am sure this is something that can be incorporated into the user forum ranks.

When someone logs into any website a user object (BEAN) is created and stored in the session. In this user object if they do not already add two new attributes - user start date and num of posts both already stored in the user table. When a user posts a new thread check those two user params that are already there, populated on user logon.
Also the "font face" is missing a dash -the attribure is "font-face". Search the code for "font face" and replace all with "font-face" - your font issues will be gone - this is something a programming student first week of class could do. I posted this in another thread, the fix for this about 8 weeks ago.
Just trying to help.

Not sure this is going to post correctly and I did alter the HTML tags (so they don't get flagged by a filter) line 1 is the surrounding default CSS directive for ARIAL - totally makes sense - line 2 has an inner span tag with an overriding (selected by the poster when making the post and stored in the database) font as shown in font-family - what comes after is garbage: """ is not supposed to be there but it is being added after getting pulled from the DB. Or maybe it is being stored on the DB as such.
Lastly and Im taking (another) jab at your developer: the use of the STRONG tag or any HTML tag for style and then mixing that in the middle of CSS style directives is not a good idea - you're already using CSS for style why muck it up with pretty much depricated HTML? CSS replaced HTML for style (He's using it!) about 15-20 years ago.
This points to poor design on the view which is why there are font issues. Now magnify that font issue's poor design to the whole website and that's probably why there are website issues.

This is also why the fonts are being ignored -
line 1: p style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.3333px">
