why did they change the NFL team pages?

I need to be able to go back and see last seasons stats and schedule, now we can only see the current season, please put back the option to see the past seasons also

now it's gone for College hoops too? i understand its intended to be an upgrade, but we need the previous seasons data, and as many past seasons as you can keep, i'd say at least the past 5 years

 Agreed, Covers makes these changes and then screws it up. There wasn't anything wrong with the way it was. Now the page for the current season is inverted. I got used to seeing the most recent at the top. It is harder to read now too.

now they did it for all the sports? wtf?

I'm guessing they waited to do this till later in season because 1.) they didn't want to code all that back data, 2.) later in the year last seasons stats become less relevant, and 3.) next season will have this seasons back data so basically starting over.

I hope this is the case because I understand we can see the last seasons games, but they are taken out of context. I want to see bye weeks, B2B in NBA/NHL, other schedule glitches like if they took the night off to save up for the next opponent etc...

Last I heard these are not intended to be gone and will be brought back. I am surprised just as you that it was removed from all sports. I will follow up with the developers and find out what is happening and hopefully get a timeline for the previous years data return.

Looks like the previous season are available within the teams page - https://www.covers.com/sport/basketball/nba/teams After selecting the team you want to view, under the schedule tab there is the option to view previous years. There are some tweaks they plan to make to this, and are open to suggestions and I can send them off to the developers.

 I'm on mobile and there is no link there to see past season's data. Also please have them put it back to most recent results at the top. For 20 years that has been how it's displayed. Why change it? The people that do this have no idea what it is like to have to deal with these ridiculous unnecessary changes, especially in the middle of the season. I've been on Covers since'04. They keep making it worse.

This was working at the time of my previous post, but appears to only be working for NFL and NCAAF at this time. The other sports do not have the option now, I reached out to the developers to get this fixed. I have also let them know to make the changes to recent results at the top, as it should not have been changed.

 It's the 15th, and nothing has changed. No link to past season's on college basketball and the past results still start from the top instead of most recent. Does anyone at Covers care at all about this issue besides you? What is the problem in changing it back?

I would have hoped they had the past results starting from the top instead of most recent issue sorted by this week, but not 100% sure yet what may have caused it to be delayed. I will reach out to them and see if I can get a date this plans to be sorted. I believe they do still plan to separate the schedule and past results from each other as well, and mentioned it is most likely going to be a sub-tab due to the available space there.

Hopefully some good news about this will keep you all updated once I hear back.

Just spoke with them and they expect it will be live tomorrow with the past results subtab, as well as, flipping how the results are shown.

Hopefully this tackles the majority of the issues with the changes, I know currently the results are not showing for some of the recent completed seasons atm.
