Who would you choose out of those 3?
Berkman qualifies at 1B/OF, hits in a lineup with Pujols and Holliday and looks like he is in a hot streak right now.
Hafner, only a few years ago, was one of the premier AL hitters. He has said his shoulder woes are behind him, he has been pulling the ball but he is 33 and only qualifies at UT.
Derrek Lee missed most of spring training and his only home run so far is putting the bat on a Verlander pitch and sending it to the opposite field. He is off to the slowest start of these 3.
Even though Lee has the worst numbers right now (small sample size), I still think he ends up with the best numbers of these 3. Some think he's toast because of the (lack of) bat speed, but I still wonder if he's rounding into form after missing almost all of spring training.
After that, I am leaning Berkman second and Hafner third. I guess it has been so long since Hafner made a fantasy impact I just refuse to gamble on him.
