I dont know if Phillips is better without question.
 
Phillips has had 2 full years under his belt, Upton only 1.

Phillips scored a run every 1.47 games
Upton scored a run every 1.51 games
 
Phillips picked up a SB every 4.91 games
Upton picked up a SB every 5.91 games
 
If you trust both of these guys to stay healthy, there isnt much of a difference between the two. Upton had the edge in AVG while Phillips had the edge in SB. The other 3 categories were extremely close. They are both going to improve and Upton qualifies in the OF too. There is no huge edge between the two.

i like upton personaly depends on where you are in the draft i think he will slip to the second round in a mixed league

i would take BP before BJ, but i would draft neither of them at the spots one has to this year...i see a soph slump from upton, as he will hit .260 this yr...BP is a pretty streaky guy
 
the guys with the best value at 2B this yr are kinsler, weeks, and kelly johnson
 
i would MUCH rather have kinsler in rd 6 or 7, than upton or phillips in the 2nd or 3rd
 
my bold prediction = kinsler outplays them both
