I know there's a forum for this but it seems like no one looks at it...so here goes....
I've been offered Andrew Mccutchen for Andrew Bailey and Ricky Romero.
We start 5 OF and it's probably my weakest position as I start Justin
Upton, Colby Rasmus, Carlos Gonzalez, Garrett Jones, and Travis Snider
(With Delmon Young, Cameron Maybin, and Mike Stanton on the bench. So I
couldn't definitely use Mccutchen. We start 8 pitchers, it is your
choice of how you want to assemble your staff, you can go 2 closers and
6 starters or 3 and 5 etc etc. My Rotation consists of Tommy Hanson,
Clayton Kershaw, Francisco Liriano, Justin Verlander, Ricky Nolasco and
3 closers this week, Andrew Bailey, Neftali Feliz, and Carlos Marmol.
So I'm pretty solid in most pitching aspects, and even though Romero
strikes out a ton I have plenty of other high strikeout pitchers. As
far as Bailey goes, I still would have Feliz and Marmol, and Matt
Thornton is available in our league, who I think will soon be closing
games for the White Sox.
So my question to you guys is, would
you do this trade? Romero is a legitimate 15 W and 200K guy. While
Bailey hasn't allowed an ER this season and looks like he could post
30-35 saves. Thanks in advance for the help.

Dont do it. Its likely that they over paid for mccutchen and are trying to get some value from their pick. There are other outfielders worth targeting that will help you out more.

I agree Hutch, he shit the bed after a hot start to last season...the big piece in this deal for me is Bailey...I can afford to give up Romero's W's and K's with the other pitchers I have listed

All I am saying is that if your looking for outfield help, I would find someone else to target. I look at trading in fantasy baseball, kinda like poker. I would rather be the one betting, than calling. Meaning, I would rather be the one offering trades, rather than accepting. Obviously there are no brainer situations, where you are going to accept a trade, but I do not think this is one of those. Just my humble opinion. If you are looking for solid all around production, I would target under achievers this year like adam lind, jacoby ellsbury, and even jonny damon. Maybe see if you could get Shin-soo Choo.
