A. Each owner must pay a minimum of $100 to be in the league. This $100 will go directly towards your teams total salary. Owners MUST invest a minimum of $100 into their teams and a maximum of $120.
B. Fees must be paid via Paypal, unless you have a seperate arrangement with the comissioner/league.
C. Fees must be paid within 2 weeks of the date of joining the league or by Wednesday September 7th 11:59 PM EST, whichever comes first. This is to ensure that if a team owner does not pay the league fees that they may be replaced in a timely fashion.
D. Superbowl winner, Superbowl runner up, and EACH DIVISION WINNER will receive money. The MINIMUM payout distribution is as follows: Superbowl Winner: $600, Superbowl Runner-up: $200, Division Champion: $100. HOWEVER PRIZE MONEY FOR EACH CATEGORY IS SUBJECT TO INCREASE DEPENDING ON SALARY CAP OUTCOMES (Read further for Salary Cap)
Section 5 – KEEPER LISTS (YEARS 2 and On)
A. The window to declare keeper players for the following season is during the playoff weeks 14-16. By the end of the superbowl (The end of the Monday Night Football Game of week 16), teams will submit keeper lists to the commissioner. Teams must keep a minimum of three and a maximum of five players.
B. The total salary of your keepers cannot be more than 25% of your total team salary the previous year. So if your total team salary was exactly $100 you cannot retain more than $25 worth of keeper contracts for the following season. This is what insures the dollar amount of the minimum prize pool, WHICH IS SUBJECT TO INCREASE AND WILL BE DISTRIBUTED PROPORTIONALLY TO THE ORIGINAL PAYOUT AGREEMENT.
C. Here is an example, if your total team salary is $100 and you decide to keep exactly $25 (25%) of your total team salary in keeper contracts, then that $25 will count towards your total teams salary cap for the following fantasy football season and you will only be required to invest a minimum of $75 for the following year. ($25+$75=$100=minimum total team salary)
Section 6 – CONTRACT EXTENSIONS (YEARS 2 and on)
A. We will use 1st for the first year and 2nd for the second year of a players contract. At the end of a player’s 2nd contract year, owners will have the option to extend their contracts.
B. After a player’s 2nd season (ex. $6 for contract during years 1 and 2), you can choose to keep a player for the upcoming season by adding $10 to their contract (ex. $16 for contract year 3). If you want to keep a player for a fourth season, you must add another $5 to their contract (ex. $21 for contract year 4), the fifth season would be another $5 and so on (ex. $26 for contract year 5). There is no limit to how many years you can extend a player as long as you keep paying them according to scale before the auction.
Section 7 – AUCTION/DRAFT
A. Each team will have a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $120 to bid for 25 roster spots. You cannot draft less or more then 25 players. You must spend at least $1 on each player.
B. The draft will be an open auction. The last-place team from the previous year brings the first player up for bidding. Teams go around in a clockwise fashion from then on bringing up players for bidding. Opening bid must be at least $1.
C. Any money left over from the team’s budget at the end of the draft becomes part of the team’s FAAB.
Section 8 – COLLEGE DRAFT/RULES (YEARS 2 and on)
A. At some time before the following seasons auction, a two round college draft will be held. The first pick in the college draft will go to the team with the worst Win-Loss record the previous season, second pick to the second worst Win-Loss record from the previous season, etc.
B. Any collegiate player that gets drafted by an NFL team is eligible to be drafted.
F. Contracts for college players will be $6 for first round, $3 for second round.

Section 4 – LEAGUE FEES AND PAYOUT

B. Any collegiate player that gets drafted by an NFL team is eligible to be drafted.
F. Contracts for college players will be $6 for first round, $3 for second round.
A. Any money not used by a team during the draft is added to their FAAB. This will be established once the auction draft is over for each team. REMEMBER, you MUST use a minimum of $100 of salary and a maximum of $120 of the salary cap. So the maximum FAAB for any team at any point during the season is $20 (max-min: $120-$100=$20)
B. FAAB is used by teams to put in bids throughout the season on free agents. The minimum bid is $1. The maximum bid is your entire FAAB budget. Anyone purchased is in the first year of their contract.
C. If you choose to add someone off the free agent wire and drop another player (i.e. ADD/DROP), you will place a bid on the player using FAAB money. FAAB must be used for all free agent pickups. If you drop a player that you have under contract, their salary for that season WILL NO LONGER COUNT TOWARDS YOUR SALARY CAP and those funds will go towards your FAAB.
D. If two teams tie in bidding, then the team lower in the standings gets the player. If the two teams are tied in the standings, then the team with the lower point total will get that player
E. FAAB money cannot be traded.
F. FAAB money can be used for any purpose: to replace an injured player that you are placing on the IR or to replace a dropped player.
G. You must wait a minimum of 1 week from the day that you drop a player before adding that same player back to your roster. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the player being released back into free agency and their salary will be held against your total teams salary for the remainder of the season regardless of whether or not this player does or does not find his way back onto your roster at any point during the season.
H. See transaction rules for all other details.
I. The transaction period runs from Sunday to Tuesday at 11:59 PM EDT.
J. Any acts of collusion for funneling players or any other acts can be evaluated by the commish/league owners vote of 51%+ and disallowed if need be (“best interest of the league…”). There may be “loopholes” we do not realize…let’s put this in writing that the league can evaluate if this occurs.
Section 10 – TRADES
A. Once a trade is accepted by both owners the comissioner has until Wednesday 11:59 PM EDT of the current week to approve the trade.
B. Trades are NOT subject to a league vote or any type of veto system. It is a manager’s responsibility to make quality trades as they see fit. The league will not safeguard poor managing skills or stifle excellent managing skills. The commissioner, however, at the suggestion of other league members, may bring up a trade for league review (51%+ vote) if it appears to show elements of collusion between two owners. Namely, if a trade does not benefit one of the teams in any way shape or form. This process will occur in RARE occasions as a safe guard. Offenses of collusion will be taken seriously and may result in a manager being asked to leave the league. It is unlikely to come to this, but please keep this in mind that we are starting the league to have fun more than anything.
C. Once a trade is posted, even if it will not go into effect until the next week, it CANNOT be traded back. For example, if there was a game on a Thursday and the trade was posted on a Friday, even if one of the traded players get injured in Sunday’s games, there will not be a trade-back. This is why it is strongly recommended to make all trades after that weeks games have been played.
D. College players and picks from the next year’s college draft may be traded between teams as long as all rosters remain legal. IF TRADING DRAFT PICKS FOR THE FOLLOWING COLLEGE YEAR YOU MUST ANNOUNCE THE TRADE ON THE LEAGUE MESSAGE BOARD UPON APPROVAL BY BOTH OWNERS TO INSURE ACCURATE RECORD KEEPING. I.E. Team A Trades: Brian Urlacher, Ladanian Tomlinson, and Wille Parker for Team B: Peyton Manning and Team A's 2012 first round draft pick. (ALSO WHEN PROPOSING A TRADE, IF YOU WISH TO INCLUDE A DRAFT PICK PLEASE MAKE IT VERY CLEAR IN THE TRADE NOTES.)
Section 11 – League Rule Changes and Additions (PLEASE NOTE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TERM CHANGES AND ADDITIONS)
A. Any league rule CHANGES AFTER the auction draft can only be made via a 51%+ league owners vote in favor of the rule change. Suggestions for rule changes may be made on the league message board and will be brought to vote ONLY if the comissioner feels that the suggestion is worthwhile and worthy of a vote.
B. REASONABLE ADDITIONS to any league rules can be made at the discretion of the comissioner at any time. If for example some loop-hole towards performing acts of collusion is not addressed in these rules.
C. If any rule additions made by the comissioner do not seem favorable towards the majority of the owners or what is in the best interest of the league, then a league vote must take place on the message board and a 51%+ league owners vote will veto the added rule.
