You can keep 2 guys from this list who would they be.

Brandon Marshall

Rashard Mendenhall

Matt Forte

Knowshon Moreno

Carson Palmer

I was giving this team in a league i picked up on. What you think?

Cmon now. You know it depends on alot of things, what qbs are left, is there still some backs out there. But in general Mendenhall and marshall, but Palmer might just have his best year yet...

Agree. It depends on the talent pool left / where you are in the draft order / etc.  But for the sake of argument...

Palmer and Forte/Marshall.

Like Palmer to return to top form this year.  Same with Forte, but Marshall is also a solid choice if you believe Henne's going to be able to get him the ball consistently.  Miami obviously loves the run...

I think Forte and Mendenhall.  Every down backs are tough to come by, regardless who's out there.  Carson Palmer is a mid tier qb where many are as compatiable.

Mendenhall for sure and either Forte or Marshall.  I would NOT keep any QB unless their name was Brees, Brady or Manning (Peyton Manning), if even then.  BOL!

Y is everyone on Forte? He ruined my fantasy team last year. And didnt they get Chester Taylor? He will atleast get all the 3rd down touches and might evenly split. Id take Moreno before Forte.

Moreno has a pulled hammy and will be out for three weeks.  Just another of many nagging injuries for Moreno since he entered the NFL.  This time is it a nagging hammy injury which is like the plague for running backs.

Also, Forte is built to be a CHI running back.  Plus all reports out of camp indicates that he looks good, strong, quick, etc.  That he looks the best he ever has.  Chester Taylor didn't steal too much fantasy production from AP last year and  I don't think he will to badly this year either.  BOL!

Is it a PPR league should be the 1st ?

Marshall for sure, but in the long haul, I think Moreno will be more valuable than Mendenhall. The PPR ? makes a difference as well since I think the Denver offense will throw to its backs more Pitt.

Too many backs in the Chi-Town backfield for me.

Marshall and Mendenhall     


Chose Mendenhall because he averaged 4.6 yards per carry and Moreno averaged 3.8

Mendenhall also averaged more yards per reception.    He's the man now in Pittsburgh since Willie Parker is gone.


Marshall is one of the best receivers in the league when he's got his head on straight, maybe even THE best.

You wouldn't keep Aaron Rodgers?        Check the stats, he was better than both Brady and Manning last year.   And he's a lot younger than they are.    Rodgers is going to be a monster this year.  He was a monster last year.    Probably the best young up and coming QB in the league right now

marshall and mendenhall no doubt.  the rest of the guys you listed would be available after the second round anyway.  i do like moreno, especially in a keeper league.  but his hamstring injury is a concern.  plus you will have an elite RB and an elite WR with marshall and mendenhall, as opposed to 1 elite RB and 1 RB with question marks.

Must keep 2 players

1st round: A Peterson
1st round: M Turner
3rd round: Calvin Johnson
5th round: Aaron Rogers
Undrafted: Sims-Walker

Im leaning AP and Rogers (5th round seems like strong value)

Easy here - AP/Turner.  That's 2 stud RB.  Maybe draft Schaub as he won't be that far off AR.

Marshall / Mendenhall.

Forte has Martz as OC.
Palmer would be 6-7 best QB (Peyton/Brees/Rodgers/Schaub/Romo/Brady).  Cinci ran alot last yr and was successful.
Moreno hurt as stated and Den is not coached by Shanahan anymore.

Good lord you Green Bay Packer fans are so sensitive.  Yes I forgot Rogers and I would agree he should be in that first wave of QBs fantasy wise.  But my point doesn't waiver regardless if Jesus Christ himself is QBing in the NFL.  I think there is more value in a RB who plays for a run oriented team with no viable backup and a WR who regularly catches over 100 balls a season.

The problem is that there isn't many teams like that anymore.   Almost every team has a couple good backs that split carries so that they can keep them healthy.   Running backs are still important in fantasy football don't get me wrong but other positions have closed the gap.

I was referring to Mendenhall and he does fit that discription perfectly.  Which was the point of this thread... which of Kudds keepers prospects should he keep and not a general ranking of all fantasy football players.

Turner is a stud?  Don't think one good year in your NFL career makes you a stud.  Has to make wonder some what that they kept Sproles over him.   Schaub same thing.  FINALLY had a healthy season.  AP and Rodgers have both proven they can last the entire season, while Turner and Schaub have not.

AP and Rogers for me.  Having Rogers for a 5th round pick is great value.  i do like Turner this year, but the value lies with Rogers.
