Question

I know it&#39;s early but I can&#39;t wait for next season.  With guys like Rose, Westbrook, Griffin and Love all first rounders now it&#39;s going to be real interesting.  Lebron is still the undisputed king of fantasy (and the greatest fantasy bball player of all time), but who do you pick #2?  Rose, Durant or CP3?  I would probably go with Durant due to the lack of quality forwards, though I do think Rose and CP3 will be better statistically.  I believe Paul will regain his title of best fantasy guard as long as he stays healthy (which isn&#39;t always easy with him).  D-Will is right up there too.  Who would you take at #2 and #3?

I believe in my league Lebron finished 4th last year overall behind Durant, CP3 and Pau. Durant, CP3, Lebron, Rose, KLove, Dirk, Pau and Wade should probably be the first group of guys taken. After that group look for Aldridge, Amare, Westbrook, DWill, Dwight, Curry, and Kobe to go in the next group in my opinion.

I don't think Blake finished in the top 50 overall in my league last year. He's a big name and highlight real, but I wouldn't draft him anywhere near the first round. His numbers looks good, but he doesn't make 3's (unless he develops more of a game like Love but don't see it), low FT%, and had only 45 blocks and 63 steals last year.

Blake was up there with Howard because of their dreaded FT%.&#xD;&#xA;What about Melo? He&#x27;s gonna be a machine in NY.

JW1LS, u must play in a roto league.  In head to head leagues Lebron is by far the best player.  Last year was actually his worst season statistically since his rookie year and he still averaged 5 fantasy points per game than the next best player (Rose).  Still I am pretty surprised he is 4th in roto.  I assumed he was the best in roto too but I guess not.

Which only elite players do in out scoring system.  Assists, steals and blocks worth 2 points, turnovers-1.  No bonus for 3 pointers made (which I am considering adding for next season).

No, I played in a H2H league.  This is the only basketball league I&#x27;ve ever played in (won the title last year and 2nd the year before) but maybe our scoring is different than most.  I know based off our scoring that is how it went.

Well...it depends on the type of league you&#x27;re in. With points...Blake/Howard are beasts. But when you count FT%...both can hurt you. I learned that the hard way.

I had Howard last year and traded him around the quarter mark. It took me the rest of the season to get myself to 2nd to last. Of course...this was a roto league. If it&#x27;s h2h...it&#x27;s different. You may not lose every week with FT% and he helps a bunch of other categories. He hurts TOs and doesn&#x27;t get 3s. But nobody is better for blocks and he&#x27;s a star scorer, rebounder. Blake can&#x27;t help you with blocks, though. And he&#x27;ll turn it over as well. He&#x27;ll help...but as stated before...neither are 1st round material.
