I'll use this thread to anwer others questions if you post them
 
Local league gets first loss Now at 4-1... Not to worried about this one as I really like my team.
 
Big Leagues gets a very important win to go 2-3 but need to increase my scoring production.
 
What 3 WR's to you go with out this bunch?
 
Calvin Johnson, Driver, Roy Williams, Meachem or DeveryHenderson.
 
Leaning Johnson, Driver & Williams...my thought is I never know who is going to get the ball from Brees since he spreads it around so much.

your picks are just tough because detroit sucks and like you said never know who brees will throw to
 
heres mine:
 
start 2 WR: braylon vs. NYG, larry fitz (start) vs. Dallas, ocho stinko @ NYJ, steve breaston vs. Dallas (boldin most likely out)
 
QB: Anderson vs. NYG, O'Sullivan vs. Phil, Orton @ ATL (trying to get him on waivers but should have a good chance)

Fitz is an obvious one...   Did I read that right Braylon Edwards Only 11 catches for 95 yards and 1 TD?  I think I would keep all Browns players benched until they show me something and is this really the week against the NYGiants... doubtful.  I would go with Ocho Stinko vs Jets and their #31 ranked passing D.
 
I think the Bears will have some success running against Atlanta the #21 Rush D so I would pass on Orton. You already know how I feel about all Cleveland Browns players as fantasy options. I would be tempted to go with O'Suckyman as they will not be able to get Gore off against this stout rush D of Philadelphia.
 
Come to think of it are their any waivers available at QB?

i just picked up orton off waivers; others are ryan, pennington, russell, collins, and freotte.  my lean is towards orton right now after not playing him last week which was a horrible decision.

the thing about that jets pass D is that something like 450+ came in the zona game so its a little misleading but obviously not great.  im really stuck on which WR to start.  first lean was ocho stinko but then im thinking about just rolling with the zona boys and hope they pass all game.  going to be a last minute decision.

i really need this win after dropping 3 straight after a 2-0 start and im playing the #1 team in our league but his team is very beatable.

Bustin I would have to go
Johnson, Williams, Driver although with the QB situation in Det I am basing it solely on the talent of the receivers not on the guy thats throwing them the ball as it stands right now who knows who that guy will be


my questions entail the following
Palmer vs NYJ, Bulger vs Wsh, Pennington vs Hou - need 1

RB MJD vs Den, Addai vs Balt, F.Jones vs AZ - need 2

other pool

Garrard vs Den, Bulger vs Wsh, Frerotte vs DET - need 1

E.Graham vs Car, Deuce vs Det, MJ Drew vs Den, M.Morris vs ?

Homegrown- I think I would take my chances with Palmer against that passing D of the Jets... he actually had respectable numbers against the Cowboys... I wouldn't even thing off playing Bulger until they can show me the ability to score and not sure how that is going to go against Washington. The only problem I have with Pennington is how many TD passes are going to be stolen by Ronnie Brown in that college formation "Hog Wild"
 
You know you can't bench your stud  Not even against a sound defense like Baltimore... So Addai is a go.  MJD had a tough go against Pittsburgh but he did get in the endzone. I play him against the Broncos #25 Rush D... Jones is going to frustrate you because all he is going to see is spot duty for Barber which he has made the most of it... but I would hate to have critical points riding on the 8-9 touches he may get outside of Kickoff returns.
 
I think Garrard is probably the better option but it is hard to not like Ferotte against a porous Detoit D #30 against run and #29 against the pass. I think Minnesota will probably be more inclined to run AP/Taylor then throw
 
Graham should definetely get the start against the Panthers he averaged 5.9 yards a carry against the Broncos 10-59 yds and 5 receptions for 21 yards so he is big part of their offense.
 
Morris I think he is still hurt and has been listed as out for a few games so I would not even worry about thinking of him.
 
Again I think MJD is the safer choice over Deuce as the Raiders have a run D in the middle of the pack of the league... I'm still unsure of what Deuce's role is with this team as it took 4 weeks for him to make an appearence. The fans will definetely be chanting Deuce if the get in the redzone .. So I think he may see a short yardage plunge for a TD

Have to thank DW for last week but dont think he will pull off a good week vs TB, Meachum has good match up vs OAK but to many targets in NO, Jamal Lewis will first of all he is on the Browns and second of all he is playing the G-men, Matt Jones has no TDs and I think Jacksonville going to run all over DEN and pass the ball mostly to Jones-Drew, Jacksonville DE playing DEN that game is going to be a shoot out tell the end I think and hopefully Wash can shut down STL like everyone else has and get me big points.

blaineg- I like Campbell over Orton at QB this week
 
Flex- Like Welker the best of the choices. I don't think I would start McGahee he has been losing touches to McClain especially around the goaline. I like Hightower I think he got 2 TD's last week and should continue to nibble at James carries. I don't like Jones or meachum to inconsistent of targets. That would leave me with J Lewis and D Williams... call me crazy but I think I roll with DW again this week. I say this because the Saints were even able to mount 100yds against the Bucs rushing and trust me the Saints cannot run the ball this year.
 
Washington D- I wouldn't overthink this versus the Lambs

Bengals | Palmer doubtful for Week 6

Mark Curnutte, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (elbow) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 10. He is listed as doubtful for the team's Week 6 game.

 

See that Homegrown... Ugh gun to  my head with those options I pull the trigger.

Let's see no Lambs...Bulger

Garcia had very average numbers last week in relief and Last season as the starter had a whopping 176 yds No TD's or INT's. They were content to run the ball 32 times between Pittman/Graham in the 20-7 win In Week #4... week #17 you cannot count as it was a meaningless game and he didn't play.

By default I go with Chad although his production is not likely to make your eyebrows go up and down.

Jwils- In regard to my recommendation with Ocho... in light of Palmer not playing maybe not a great option, although I am playing in him one league as a mandatory flex option... Chris Johnson and LJ are on bye so I have to start a 3rd WR.
 
I think both Arizona WR's are a better choice I read Roy Williams and I think another Cowboy  DB are not playing this week.
 
I'm not sure what to maake of Mcgahee seems like they have been favoring McClain more I know a lot of that has to do with his injuries... but he has never been a fantasy player I've highly sought after.
 
Eagles - I think their offense revolves around Westbrook so it would be hard for me not to see Buckhalter highly used in the pass/rush game
