Team that was 1-3 is now 3-3 
 
Team that was 4-0  is now 4-2
 
But hey that is Fantasy football...
 
This week RB #1 Marion Barber
This week WR #1 Calvin Johnson
This week WR #2 Driver
Flex spot can go Chris Johnson (lean) or elsewhere?
 
L. White, Deuce  Not high on these choices as both only likely to get points on goalline plunges.
 
Devery Henderson... Not liking Colston should return this week.
New acquistion Derrick Mason...
Roy Williams (Now a Cowboy ) But how much will he be part of the offense in one week ?

i have roy will. and t.o. is it good to have 2 wrs from same team. i think roys stats will be better in dal then in det

thekid- I wouldn't be afraid to have to receivers on the same team if they are an explosive offense. Look at the success Boldin/Fitzgerald have had.
 
The problem here in this offense is they have too many guys to get the ball too Barber, TO, Witten , Felix Jones when he returns and now Roy Williams. Truly a nightmare to defend, but some weeks the production may be very lean.
 
I'm strongly considering holding him out of my roster until I see how often he will be utilized in the offense and how quickly he learns it in the next 2-3 weeks.

This week playing last years winner and he has been talking shit all year and its time to shut him up I need win bad.  Im on 3 game winning streak to get to 3-3, but this week my stud MJD on bye so hurting but think I can still win. These are my options
 
Need one QB Campbell vs CLE or Orton vs MIN
Need two flex spots McGahee vs MIA, DeAngalo Williams vs NO, LenDale White vs KC
 
I know options dont look good but lots of players besides MJD on bye this week.  Im in 14 person league so WA dont have much choice so tell me do I need to make a trade or try a major sleeper of WA my thinking right now is

RB J Lewis
TE O Daniels
WR G Jennings
FLX W Welker
FLX McGahee
FLX L White
DE Wash
 
Thinking is DW losing most carries to a rookie but blew his load against KC why can LW who is in the same situation do the same thing what better DEF to be playing to try to win your job back.  Also McGahee's first 5 games last year he started out slow but than 7 games straight with a TD.
But mabye Im crazy and my team has no chance at all but give me your thoughts and if you have any questions for me feel free to post them and I'll give you my advice as well.

I think I would take my chances with Orton this week personally. Minn D is one of the toughest and although that is what the Bears are going to want to do... I just think it is going to be lean yars for Forte. I think they will need to exploit the vulnerable MInn pass D that was susceptible to big plays as seen against the NO Saints.
 
Gosh I really hate McGahee but think he and L. White are probably your best chances.

What about Campbell you dont think he can put up good numbers against the Browns, Cle coming off big win and great DEF pass performance I think that will lead to mistakes this week, also Minn pass de only getting better as the weeks go on, but it is a tuff call Orton is on fire right now and Cliton Portis is 2 and getting the TDs in WASH. ahhh need win
And probally going to not get much points out of Mcgahe or White

Larry Holder, of the Biloxi Sun-Herald, reports New Orleans Saints WR Marques Colston (thumb) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 15, and head coach Sean Payton is optimistic Colston can play Week 7.

I'd go with him... just make sure to check the inactives prior to gametime. Besides both Jackson and Boldin are on Bye.

Lance Moore has been getting most of the looks the last few weeks from Brees but that will probably change if Colston gets in the lineup. Injury report from the Chargers showed Chambers did not practice Wednesday. Likely if he doesn't practice either Thursday or Friday he won't play.

But the way Brees is throwing the ball around I wouldn't mind starting Colston and Moore on my team if I had them both

I think both Eli and Schaub both have good weeks so hopefully it becomes a moot point. But just looking at the matchups Texans going against the #30 Pass D of the Lions looks better IMO.

Any ideas on Roy Williams???  I have him to and not sure if I should start him.  How much can he really be involved after a week of practices?  I do feal that Jerry Jones will want him to have a great first game just to prove a point.  He is my third option behind Jennings and Lee Evans, my problem is that after Roy Williams I have a substantial drop off.  My other options if he doesnt sart would be:  Antonio Bryant, Dean Branch (?) Donnie Avery....  I kind of want to start Avery, but that is just because I am a Rams Homer!  What are your thoughts??

I don't think we could see that much from Roy Williams in less than a week. I am sitting him until I get a better feel for his involvement in the offense personally.
 
Donnie Avery has seen some balls in his last two games. I think I would go with him. Branch was inactive again last week and A. Bryant is a hit & Miss proposition.

I picked up Steve Smith and going to start him problem is over who cant decide if white or mcgahee should go to the bench

also looking into picking up M moore because I like the matchup playing cinci and start him and smith over mcgahee and white what do you all think?

definitely go with chris johnson (KC is one of the worst run D's i believe)

QB: orton or anderson
RB: mcgahee, mcclain, sproles, or perry
TE: daniels or miller

blaineg- I like M Moore > than L White and Mcgahee.
 
I personally think L White is only good for maybe a 1 yard plunge if he gets one.
 
Smith had a good game last week but does lightening strike twice?, probably safer to go with McGahee as 2nd flex as I did not see him on the injury report
 
Jw1ls-  I like Orton as I think the Bears will need to throw against the Vikings tough run D.
 
Luke warm endorsement for McGahee... Boy you guys really must have liked him as a fantasy choice ... I have very low on my draft board > 3rd round.
 
I love Daniels as a TE..Wish I would have drafted him.... He is a great value late pick up and I personally only have a few TE's I like better than him.

those were my leans as well.
 
mcgahee slid to me in the 5th round so i felt like i had to take him but this will be the first week that i have to play him (westbrook/buckhalter and reggie bush are my starters)

Hi...here's my RB and WR issue...need to choose the best 2nd RB and 3rd WR:
 
My RB's are Portis, Parker, Slaton and CJohnson of Tenn.
Parker's out and I'm hearing Portis is hurting but will start. Think it would be a good play to start Slaton and Johnson since they're going against weak D's this week? I'd hate to put Portis in and risk him leaving the game right away from aggravating his injury.
I also have a toss up between starting either Mason, KWalter, or LMoore as my 3rd receiver.
Any opinions/ideas would be much appreciated! thanks!

QB's: Brees
RB's: Slaton
WR's: BMarshall, Cotchery
TE's: Winslow
 
Bench:
QB's: Warner
RB's: Parker, Portis, CJohnson - Tenn
WR's: Driver, LMoore, KWalter, DMason

I'd probably have hard time benching Portis.... Nice dillema to have with RB"s.  The thing you have to worry about Chris Johnson is White taking the goalline plunges.
 
Wow I think I honestly play Driver...With the Saints you never know who is going to get the ball. Hard to not think Texans will be content to run against Lions. Mason is a solid possesion receiver but I think Driver is a more viable TD proposition.
