First week of the playoffs in my 12 team league. We played 4 divisions of 3 (so we had a balanced schedule) and have 2 wildcards. My division wasn't that good so I managed to back into the playoffs despite struggling late in the season. Major RB issues right now. Need to start 3 (2 RB spots & 1 Flex). Here they are, and it's a little fucking crazy:
Turner: my 1st rd round and I will certainly be starting him IF he plays Snelling: a possibility if Turner doesn't go; Norwood not 100% K. Smith: tough matchup against the Ravens, but a factor in the passing game. However, will Culpepper dump it off to him? He has a slight tendency to throw deep, regardless of the coverage. Barber: I'm sick of this guy shitting on me. I think I'm done playing him until he proves something, which may be too late for me. Ganther: now the starter; Raiders given up either 100yds or TD to every RB this yr. Definately leaning to starting him Harrison: not an ideal matchup this week against the Steelers which their top ranked rush defense. But they have looked pretty average recently. A factor in the passing game which considerably raises his value. C. Brown: like Ganther, now the starter. Probably last on this list at the moment.....actually, he might be ahead of Barber. Seahawks middle of the road against the rush.
Oh, and if anyone cares, the rest of the lineup is Schaub, Fitz, Ochocinco, Celek, and New Orleans.
I don't know if I've ever been this lost on who to start at RB, and of course it's playoff time. I need as many different opinions as I can get on this one guys

Whichever one starts: Turner or Snelling I know its frustrating but i think you have to play Barber And i would lean Harrison just because he will get the bulk of the carries. I worry about Brown because he only gets the ball on the goal line but he usually fumbles throws a int when he gets it

If you think Harrison against the Steelers because he will get the bulk, then don't you have to like Kevin Smith against the Ravens even more. He's a better back and also gets the bulk of the carries and catches passes. I think he's the 15th ranked RB in that league.
Right now I'm leaning to Smith, Ganther because you have to play a starting RB getting most the carries against the Raiders, and ideally Turner but Barber if he doesn't play.

Go with Ganther...I Hate my match-ups this week and that is one of them...I am playing this Dude who is going up against a week run D. And he is from Oakland...You saw what Grad did last week when he went back to his hometown...And the Raiders are notorious for wilting against any kind of storyline.

Glad I didn't play Harrison last night. Picked up Jennings to play against the Chiefs next week......if I'm still alive. As well as Jennings played last night, Eric Man-gina will probably play Harrison next week.
So far: RB: Ganther (locked) RB: Kevin Smith (locked....probably) Flex: Chris Brown? Barber?
I'm to the point where I don't think I'm starting Turner even if he plays. He'll be a gametime decision, so we know he isn't 100%. He's likely missing offensive line, his starting QB probably won't play, and Snelling & Norwood will probably get touches anyway. Makes you love the Saints D, now doesn't it.

Im not getting a good feeling on Ganther now to be honest.
Sounds like Pitt-Clev Jerome harrison part 2
Earlier Wednesday it was reported that Redskins RB Rock Cartwright said that Quinton Ganther would start at Oakland in Week 14, signaling the fourth starting running back for the Redskins this season. While head coach Jim Zorn admitted that Ganther would indeed start, it wasn't a guarantee of playing time. "Rock's going to play," Zorn said of Cartwright. "We'll decide, at some point, what's going to happen and what the rotation is going to be. But [Ganther] will take the first snap." Zorn said earlier in the week that RB Marcus Mason would also be involved, though it's expected that he won't see more than five touches.

If I don't play Ganther, then that leaves me having to start K.Smith, Chris Brown, and Barber. It seems to me like I'm taking the same gamble starting Barber. The last few weeks I've just felt like I have a dead spot with him in.
Such a great fucking situation to be in with the playoffs starting this week. Oh well, I'm lucky to be in so I might as well take a chance.
