Help with my Lineup: Go With Who Got You Here? Plus SNF Pick

QB: Peyton Manning or Josh Freeman.

Ravens defense is actually pretty good still. Manning had a mediocre game last week, and I don't feel like he has a high ceiling.

Freeman went for 30 pts earlier in the year at home vs. New Orleans. With the emergence of Doug Martin though, I'm afraid they will run a lot more than the first meeting. Freeman is shakey, and when New Orleans can't defend the pass or the run, it seems like Martin is a safer bet.

WR3: Dez Bryant, Danny Amendola, Brian Hartline

Assuming Dez plays, should I go ahead and start him with a broken finger? Pitt's pass defense is still pretty good. Amendola might not play either, so if neither plays I have pretty much no choice but to pluck Hartline off the waiver wire.

FLEX: Alfred Morris or Steven Jackson.

Morris hasn't been finding the endzone much this season. I live in Washington, and I doubt RG3 starts. I think a lot of Morris's success is based off the pistol where he grinds out 5 yards at a time because of the reads. Jackson has an absolute bust until coming on the past 4 weeks. Richardson was getting half the carries, but not only is Jackson taking them back, he is finding the endzone every week.

My RB1 is Bryce Brown and RB is Knowshon Moreno.

DEF: Houston vs. Indianapolis, NY Jets @ Tenn

Houston's defense looked pretty crappy on Monday and they are getting picked off by injury every week. Indy has been putting up points, but most of Luck's good games are at home. The game has a high o/u, but a high spread of Houston.

Despite the Jets' deficiencies on offense, their defense has been pretty solid this season. You can expect a solid 11 or so points from them against lesser competition. I just feel like Tenn is a lot better team than they have played recently. You know home teams can get up for Monday Night as well.

I'm a #2 seed facing a #3 this week and I definitely gotta score all the points I can. Other dude has Luck, Megatron, AJ Green, Garcon, Ridley, Sproles, Tony Gonzo, and Reggie Bush. Pretty solid squad.

Any comments would be appreciated.

SNF Pick:

On a betting note, I knew New England was gonna win on Monday night. Giving 5.5 against a team with only 1 loss was too many points, and Houston suffers vs. elite QBs.

My main thought was the "New England doesn't lose consecutive games" rationale, because New England is going to lose on SNF.

The only teams that can beat New England are ones with pass rush, which is SF's specialty. I know Houston has Cushing, but he is only one man. SF has Aldon Smith, Justin Smith, Navorro Bowman, and of course Patrick Willis. Also have a solid secondary. They will not give Brady time in the pocket. Why do you think the Giants own them?

Kaepernick hasn't been impressive the past couple, however Harbaugh has basically converted him into Alex Smith Jr. Short throws, a lot of running, high completion percentages. He'll keep the chains moving with 10 yard passes to crabtree and keep brady off the field. He'll also be able to air it out when necessary

After that murder on Monday Night, the public will be all over the Patriots. The 49ers only get +3 at New England?

San Fran wins the game outright.

Oh yea, I have Antonio Gates. High celing, but pretty much boom or bust.

I pretty much already decided to start Heath Miller in his place. He'll probably get somewhere between 7 and 13 points, so he's probably the more solid play.

This is a non-ppr, standard scoring (4 pt passing TD) league.

Some intriguing defense possibilities on my wire this week.

Tenn DEF vs. Sanchez

Oakland DEF vs. KC and Quinn

DET DEF vs. JAX

I wouldn't trust Detroit's defense. Apparently they are a hot wire add this week, but they haven't scored garbage all year. Tenn is at home. I'm reluctant to start Oakland because of their penalties that will keep drives alive.

They actually counted that handoff as a fumble for Foles, which is ridiculous. I'm expecting a stat correction on that one already.

I really think my DEF needs to be my ace in the hole, so that's a big choice. I'm also considering TENN def as I think Sanchez should be good for a pick 6 on MNF.

RG3 looks like he's gonna play, so I've reinserted Morris into the lineup. I don't think I'm gonna gamble that St Louis doesn't turn to Richardson at some point.

I would go with hartline as your sleeper. No bess, so he should get plenty of targets.

I actually went with Freeeman at the last second

Not a big deal though cuz Peyton only got 6 more points for me. Despite the margin of victory, he didn't have a good game.

I went ahead with Dez. Unfortunately, since my first post, someone had already picked up Hartline.

Thanks to a solid performance from the rest of my team, I'm in the Championship.
