HOW is Fantasy Football NOT Gambling?

pretty good article questioning HOW these daily and weekly games which allow players to win huge prizes quickly, sometimes in one week, sometimes in just one night with players betting thousands or even tens of thousands a night are NOT "gambling"?

have always wondered about the total hypocrisy of the NFL and other sports leagues sponsoring fantasy sports leagues BUT being totally against legal sports betting. except for "free" fantasy leagues, it seem like they are one and the same

the latest 60 Minutes Sports on Showtime also had a good segmet asking the same question in their latest episode. HUGE money being bet

Prizes are set the minute a "game" is announced. Just like poker, with any tournament as long as there is a guaranteed prize pool offered at the announcement the game can take place. If a fantasy game is offered as a $1,000 prize pool and one player signs up for $10 bucks he wins the 1k.
