yes their numbers are equal. Its just the fact utley plays 2nd base and there is NO ONE like him at his position. Yes braun is great but if you were to take utley you will be able to grab someone like matt holliday or Justin Upton on the way back to you. Now if you take Braun you will end up with someone like either aaron hill who i think was a one year wonder. maybe he will be good again but never anything like he was last year. maybe brian roberts or dan uggla. There are better 2B if you want to over pay for them by selecting them with your 3rd pick which i wouldent do. So ask yourself what looks better
