i just accepted a trade...

i was offered bj upton, francisco cordero, leo nunez, and kevin gregg for kemp, wells and zito.

I accepted it because i am in desperate need for saves in my league and everybody prices there closers very high.  There are no closers on free agents.

Also, kemp has been caught stealing 8 times already and i feel he may not steal as many bases as he has in the past.

Zito to me is a ticking time bomb.  I feel like he can blow up any second and wells has already started to slow down, and i have strong hitting in my league already.

What do you guys think?

Would help if we saw the rest of your lineup. If you really need closers, than you just picked up 3 decent ones. I can't see Zito continuing to pitch this well, or see Wells continuing his torrid pace. Even though Kemp is getting CS more often than before, he is still running a lot and may still reach his previous SB totals.

I only picked up heilman in case qualls blows a few more saves.  I have good replacement outfielders so losing kemp and wells wouldnt be a huge hit to my team.

I am in a rotissere league and am losing saves bad.  I am pretty good in all the other categories but i wont get saves unless i get some closers.

idk..this one team has like 6 closers...hes always he first one to pick up closers on the waiver wire
