Ok guys, I'm in a 16 team league that starts 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and a flex RB/WR. 2 points per reception, 1 point per carry, 1 point per completion and -1 point per incompletion. Here's my team:
QB: Matt Ryan
RB: DeAngelo Williams
RB: Arian Foster
RB/WR: Justin Forsett
WR: Steve Smith (Carolina)
WR: Hakeem Nicks
TE: Vernon Davis
D/ST: 49ers
K: Lawrence Tynes
Bench: Reggie Bush, Fred Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Legadu Naanee, Johnny Knox, Santonio Holmes, Matthew Stafford.
I feel like I'm the deepest of any team at RB and want someone like Schaub. Would this make sense for me to offer Ryan and Brandon Jackson for Schaub and Javhid Best? He also has Moreno and McFadden, but don't think he'll give up either one of those guys. Is my offer a fair offer for both sides? Thanks guys.

Or another owner who has Peyton looks to be desperate for RBs. Should I offer Ryan and B.Jackson for Peyton? Is that close enough to fair for both sides? If I could get someone like Peyton or Schaub on my team, I'll have one of the 2 best teams in the league imo.

You probably wont get either of those guys without giving up one of your starting RBs, which might not be a terrible idea seeing as you have Bush on your bench and you get 2 points per reception. I think Brandon Jackson will have a big year as well but no one is gonna trade Peyton for him.

Personally I would give up Deangelo but he probably catches more passes than Foster, but Foster will get in the end zone more. So whatever you think. Brandon Jackson has good hands and Bush will get plenty of receptions as well. Deangelo also splits carries alot of the time (or at least did last year) and the Panthers O-line has a couple guys out as well as maybe even their QB

If it's 6 points for TDs and 10 yards per point then you can afford trade DeAngelo Williams and Ryan for an elite QB. Foster, Jackson (because of that offense), and Bush (because he'll get 4 or 5 catches a game) are fine starting RBs in a 16 team league.

What are points for TDs and yards?

Agreed, give Ryan a couple more weeks. No QB really succeeds in Pitt. You have a monopoly at RB and no need to strengthen another team for a few more pts each week at QB.

Yes it is 6 points per TD and 1 point per 10 yards. That's how I'm looking at it right now... I want an elite QB and feel like someone will be desperate enough at RB to give me one.
But I did draft Ryan for a reason. I like his weapons, and feels like he'll have a breakout year. Whether or not that would match up to Manning or Schaub's numbers is another question. The guy with Manning won't be a threat even if I stregthen his team a little.
I guess he accepts my offer, then great. If not, I'll sit on Ryan for a couple of more weeks and see how things go. Thanks the advice guys.
