If you've made it to the championship, there's a good chance you have Murray like I do and was blindsided by news of the broken finger. I saw him wincing and holding his hand last night, but I figured he was just sore from getting another 30 carries.
Since there's only 2 of you left, 50% chance you have the first waiver claim and dibs on the backup of choice.
The back you want might depend on game flow (I play in a PPR league).
Let's assume that Randle is the lead back. Is there any question you want him over Dunbar?
The way I see it, it's known the Dallas does not play as well at home as they do on the road, and I'm assuming, and hoping that the Colts put up big points (I have Luck too).
If the Cowboys get behind (this is likely to happen due to how good they looked on SNF), I'm going to assume that they go exclusively to Dunbar. He's just as good of a runner as Randle, but he's by far the superior pass catcher and is dynamic in the open field.
At the very least, Dunbar will be playing breather role and all passing downs which will make him valuable in a PPR league.
So who is your first choice here?

I have Murray, Randle, L. Miller, and T. Mason. I may start Mason and Miller. How are you going to know what you are going to get? I can't afford a complete donut from a RB.

I am lucky enough to have other options as well, but not good ones.
If I were to bench all the cowboys RBs I would have to play Matt Asiata or Branden Oliver.
Branden Oliver is in a tough matchup and has been ineffective vs. SF on Saturday night, so can't play him.
Matt Asiata gets the touches, but is a TD or bust kinda guy. With the Vikings out of the playoffs, you never know when that coach is going to randomly experiment with a new RB when they have Tate and Banyard. I'm still stinging from that week h randomly benched Asiata for McKinnon without any warning.
I had Toby Gerhart on my bench too, but didn't have the balls to risk the championship on my biggest draft bust.
I'm beginning to think I have to play Murray no matter what. You remember last year when Dez broke his finger too? Didn't stop him from having a nice game the first day back.
My opponent has Leveon Bell, so I feel like I need Murray to put up his usual to have any kind of chance, otherwise I'm dart throwing on Oliver or Asiata to get a TD.
I just have this feeling that game flow is going to call upon Lance Dunbar more than anyone else. The Colts are coming to play, and they have quality tight ends to mitigate the loss of Hilton, despite having nothing to play for. If Luck has another pedestrian game, I'm going to need Murray to step up anyways.
I'm going to be kicking myself Dallas benches Murray because they need someone to block every down because they're in pass only mode. No point in keeping Murray in and putting repeated stress on that hand as a pass blocker.
