Hey Folks,
I'm trying to drum up a little outside participation in my fantasy hockey league. This is the eighth season I have commissioned the league, but unfortunately, participation has dwindled the last several years, so I am calling out to anyone out there who may be interested. We have had eight to ten teams in the past, but it will probably fall well below that without any new teams.
The fee is $40 per team plus $1 for each transaction. I would be willing to accept a non-paying franchise who would be ineligible for any cash prizes. It's not very much, just enough to keep it interesting. Top three teams receive prizes, as well as a prize for first and second half winners.
We will have a live draft that you can participate in online via Google Spreadsheet. It's very simple to use and I can explain all the details later. The league is through Yahoo!, and it is a rotisserie-style league, which means you can change your lineup every day, and your overall standings position is determined by your combined league ranking in each of the vital statistics (see below). Here is the necessary info to sign up. Remember to click on 'Join a Private League'
