morneau for cruz?

Just lookin for some opinions here. I am in a 15 team, 5 player keeper league. This year I kept miguel cabrera, joey votto, justin morneau, jacoby ellsbury, and jon lester. I recently just accepted this trade, getting nelson cruz and giving up morneau. I did this simply because I have 2 1B already, and it really handcuffs me at corner infield and my utility spot. Just wondering what you all think about this trade. I am trying to diversify my lineup, while also getting some much needed outfield help. This is an extrememly deep and competitive league.

Cruz has been traded 100 times in my league and every time he was traded the person who traded him got shitted on. I wish someone would trade him to me i would actually keep him. I would do it if i were you. You already have sick first basemen. Maybe try to get another lower tier guy with Cruz that could be helpful for you seeing how Morneu is one of the top guys so far this year.

Morneau is actually 1 year younger. I think you're giving up some AVG and OBP, but getting back steals. But, like you said, you already pulled the deal because you have 2 1B. I never saw it as a bad thing when I had 4 1Bs as long as I could play them everyday.
