Happening in my league right now, Alfred Morris for Vernon Davis, thoughts???I vetoed against it because I think Davis is worth more than an Alfred Morris and the fact that the person that is offering Morris has Aaron Hernandez already as a tight end and he should be back within the next week or so.

Happening in my league right now, Alfred Morris for Vernon Davis, thoughts???I vetoed against it because I think Davis is worth more than an Alfred Morris and the fact that the person that is offering Morris has Aaron Hernandez already as a tight end and he should be back within the next week or so.
I think Morris will end up with more TDs this season than Davis, so the points should even out with the PPR factor. I would not have voted it down. I also wouldn't give up Morris for a TE unless I had some serious depth.

Honestly, I think Gonzales and Davis are about the same level tight end so far this season. Gonzales is much older but it doesn't seem to be showing with as many balls as he has been catching. I have Morris in one of my leagues and feel, and feel like he's going to have a great year. He's been decent/good so far, and not that Helu is done, I feel much better about him. Even trade imo.

It doesnt matter what the teams are. The trade is more then fair and has no business being vetoed. I would rather have Morris which makes it even more retarded. You can find TE's around out there on the wire but you arent finding any running backs with full time jobs that are performing. Joke.

When in doubt just let it ride. The two people agreed to the trade and thought it was fair in their eyes.
It's too early to block someone who may be giving in. Unless it makes a stacked team even more stacked.
An example of this would be like someone in my league, but his team isn't stacked.
He has Aaron Rodgers and RG3. I'd block a trade that would solidify his team if he were trading either of them.
Why would you block this? That is equally as stupid. The guy has two stud QBs. Obviously he does not need both. And I am assuming that anyone that would trade for one of them would also be getting an upgrade at QB which by definition makes it a fair trade. That is how trades work.

The Celtics offer Rajon Rondo for Dwight Howard and it makes both teams stronger, and satisfies a need for both teams.
If the Miami Heat, LA Lakers, OKC Thunder, etc. had "veto" power, don't you think they'd veto the trade? The Celtics would have just solidified their team and made it harder for anyone else to win the championship that particular year, because fantasy football is a 1 year thing unless you're in a keeper.

this is insane. The point of being able to block trades is to ensure that the trades are fair. If two teams make a trade that is fair and ends up making both stronger due to addressing needs than that is not a problem. It is called the way it is...

are u not paying attention i said trade was fair and than asked why u would veto it than u get defensive,vetoing that trade is the move of a douchebag plain and simple it dont matter who the trade helps or hurts or what the other owners in the league opinions are u let the trade happen those teams had there reasons for doing that trade and its basically no ones elses business unless there is collusion

I wouldn't have vetoed this trade either, but I would wonder about the fantasy intellect of the person trading Morris. Alfred is having and will continue to have, a monster year, with RGIII as his QB. Vernon Davis has Alex "wondering how to play QB" Smith. I am trying to trade Vernon myself. I wouldn't trade Morris for either/ or/both Gonzo and/or Davis. Hernandez is a re-injury risk, so maybe the guy thinks Davis will help him. Who knows. If I got offered Morris for Davis, I'd do it in a NY minute. I don't veto trades unless I suspect collusion and team-stacking.
