I play in a 14 team, 5 player keeper league. We keep 3 rookies, but we keep them for 5 years. We start 2 RB's and 3 WR's. My other rookie keepers are Matt Forte and Mike Williams (TB). Who do I keep?

I like them both, but I choose Ridley. Over the last 2 seasons, Green-Ellis as the Patriots' lead back racked up over 1900 rushing and receiving yards and 24 TDs. Ridley is widely viewed to be a better potential talent and a better receiving option as well. If Ridley could just match those numbers for a few years, I can't see where Young could possibly do any better.

Thanks Getty. Up until this week, I've been leaning to Ridley. The "leg" injury suffered this week has me second guessing myself. I actually just traded Forte for Matt Ryan and a draft pick. QB's score tons of points in my league, and Forte loses his rookie eligibility this year. It would be nice to have a #1 RB for the next 4 years. Ridley's fumbling is a concern, as is the presence of Shane Vereen.
As it stands right now my keepers go like this:
Franchise: Greg Jennings, Eric Decker Rookies: Matt Ryan, Mike Williams, ??????
We also keep a player drafted in the 9th round or later, last year. I have Titus Young for this position, but I would lose him next year if I don't keep him as a rookie keeper. So I could still have him this year. Ridley does not qualify for a 9+ keeper.
Thanks for stopping by Getty.

Thanks for the replies gentleman. Keepers were turned in today............
Franchise: Greg Jennings, Eric Decker Rookies: Matt Ryan '08, Mike Williams '10, Stevan Ridley '11 After 9: Titus Young
Have the 5th pick in the 1st round. Not real sure what is going to be available at this point, but I need a couple decent RB's. 14 team leagues can be tough. Really have to draft who you like. Can't sit around and wait for players to fall in your lap.

Have Doug Martin on my radar for my first pick. Need a RB, and he's a rookie. I love Aaron Hernandez this year, but this league puts such a heavy emphasis on rookies. Maybe Hernandez will be available in the second, but I doubt it. Just some random thoughts.

In my opinion keep Ridley. He has a bigger upside now that green-ellis is gone Ridley might see a good amount of work. Titus young is 3rd on his team to Calvin Johnson and Pettigrew. I say Ridley just because of his bigger upside

Thanks ianrod. I agree. I went ahead and kept Ridley as a rookie, but also kept Young as an after 9th round pick from last year. Thanks for stopping by.
