I am in a keeper league with a high buy-in. Doing really well (thanks Brady) and will be 4-0 if Dallas Clark scores under 16 tonight
Our league used a new system for waivers this year, giving each team a fake $100 to bid auction-style on players from the waiver list
Long story short I am first in the list, as I have saved all 100 (only 3 teams have) and I drafted 12th so in a tie I get the player.
Saving it to try to hit a HR on a free agent.
Wondering if Torain is that guy this year (like Hillis and Vick last year) or if Hightower / Helu will be back taking carries or all the carries in no time.
Any opinions or thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

In the same boat as you are. My league is a deep one, I also own Hightower and Helu. Not sure if this last week was a fluke for Torain or not, but I dont wanna be left missing the Skins starter if it ends up being Torain. My league also uses the blind auction bidding for free agents. Chris Johnson and Arian Foster are my rb's who I kept from last season, the skins RB has been my flex. Who are your RB's and if you use a flex in your league. What have you been starting in it? Id say if you are fairly deep at RB then let somebody else take a flier on him. If you are not or just looking to get lucky here. Id say go for it.

from what I've read today, it sounds like it will be a hot hand situation... Shanahan has always liked Torain going back to the denver days... Torain was a viable RB2 last year for about a month so he is certainly capable of producing. It obviously comes down to shanahan and his tendency to change RBs frequently... my guess is Torain will be viable for about 4-5 games this year... starting week 6

I agreed. And until Torain gets hurt, he is the best bet to get that hot hand.

I also like Ridley, but hes taken in my league. Torains the only RB on waivers, all RBs and backups are taken in my league, along with some 3rd string RBs. I think Im gonna roll with Torain and hope
