what does the flex position being open to any position have anything to do with it???
USUALLY every fantasy league the flex spot is open to all , unless its like a standard ESPN league with only RB/WR as flex spot- which should have absolutely no bearing on your draft.
As long as yardage scoring is the same, PPR or no PPR DOES make a difference as well.
My thoughts are ...if Calvin is not drafted in the top 10 of your league something is seriously wrong with your league and i would take him with ZERO HESITATION at 11.
Frankly if Calvin is available at 11 i would be SHOCKED.
Also the quarterback scoring on your league does make a difference, because if QB's score higher they get more value.
If QB's are basically stardard scoring- i would go STUD WR, better than average back- then 3rd pick best player on the board. - possibly a high rated scoring QB like Aaron Rodgers.

djterry thanks for your opinion. My other league has a 3 WR requirement without a flex spot. Whenever you have 3 WR requirement the WR are usually drafted earlier since it is required to play 3. So ideally in this situation you could start 3 RB's and 2 WR's.
I was thinking the same thing at 11 though. A solid RB 1 1st pick with a stud WR 2nd (AJ green maybe? ^_^)

Overall I think I picked pretty well. I had a choice of Megatron at pick 11 but I'm glad I didn't. Yes the stafford megatron combo would've been great but I didn't who my QB was going to be. I just knew I would get one in the 6th. (luck, griffin,etc) Loving the triple threat RB with mcCoy, Cj2k, and bush. Picked up tate as a handcuff for arian foster cause his injuries are always lurking. No TE was necessary after Jimmy Graham and Gronk when we don't have to play a TE. New england defense is highly underrated.
