He's obviously the better back in TB, so if Martin doesn't get hurt he could get benched soon. Guy dropped Rainey cuz he has Martin, but needed a kicker bye week fill in this week.
He has a high waiver claim, so he'll prob get Rainey back next week if I don't pluck him right now. Drop candidates are:
Kendall Wright (Who I'm starting this week unfortunately)
Coradarelle Patterson who I just picked up and am starting this week unfortunately.
Wes Welker who had 0 touches last week until late in the 4th quarter
Brian Quick who has already played the easy portion of his schedule, and got 1 catch last week.
Nick Foles, who I don't need because I have Andrew Luck, but there are a couple of playoff bound teams that need a QB, and Philly has an easy schedule to end the year. It would simply be a defensive move to keep him.
I also have Matt Asiata, but I think he splits touches with McKinnon going forward, and I'm starting him this week too, for now.
My usable RBs are Murray and Oliver/Mathews. I have to roster both for the rest of the season obviously. I got nobody as a pure RB3, and no one for bye weeks coming up.

Oh yeah, I have Toby Gerhart too, but I don't want to drop him because I think he easily gets his job back once he's healthy. He hasn't been healthy since the 2nd quarter of week 1 when he got horsecollared.
He's been playing through a high ankle sprain since then. When he comes back I think he gets at least 10-12 touches a game, and could be a renewed man.
Also don't want to cut bait on such a high investment. I used a 3rd rounder to get him, but there weren't very many projected options in that round for me to choose from.

Charles Sims will be the starter in a few weeks in TB.Martin will be starter until then.Forget about Rainey.
Thanks, wasn't even aware that Charles Sims was on the radar, but I don't really believe in rookie RBs.
They're terrible blockers, and Lovie is known to stay with provens vets (McCown).
The news says Charles Sims hasn't even practiced yet, so I find it hard to believe he will see the field any time soon, nor will he get any more than like 2-4 touches a game initially.
Rainey is averaging 4.9 YPC, compared to Martin's 2.9.
This Storm Johnson guy is a slow, poor man's gerhart. They also have Denard Robinson and Todman as the garbage time back, but I don't think any of them pose long term threats to Gerhart.
I'm just afraid Jax will have a good game against Cleveland's poor run defense today, and the coach will give these bums more carries going forward because he doesn't realize they are bums.

Lovie drafted Sims not Martin or Rainey.Rainey suffers from fumblitis.Martin is unproductive.Sims will get every opportunity to succeed when he gets off IR.Once again forget about Rainey.

Okay, I'm staying put. It'll allow me to evaluate my own talent for at least another week.
Sims can't play until November 2nd anyways. He won't even be on the radar until next week at least.
Asiata is supposedly splitting carries today. If the coach goes heavy on Mckinnon, I'll probably go ahead and drop Asiata.
The problem is, every time Asiata has been asked to step up for AP, he's done a pretty decent job every time. I feel like he can keep the job by constantly getting positive yardage and being a gem in goal line situations.

I traded Asaita for Golden Tate a few weeks ago and picked up McKinnon. There's no reason to use Asiata except for goal line play.McKinnon will be the future featured back in MIN and will get way more carries the rest of the year.

I had no choice but to play Asiata this week. My league actually gives points for carries as well.
I figured with Buffalo's tough run def, Minny would have to pass a lot, which would involve a lot of Asiata for pass protection.
So far that hasn't been the case. My only other options were Welker and Brian Quick covered by Sherman all day.
I realized that Sanders would take some of Welker's touches, but Welker still did well with Decker last season. If he has another dud he may never see the starting lineup on my team again.
