i am in a league where this year the commissioner tinkered with the settings to allow managers to start up to 5-wide receivers. since it being the first year format for everyone where they were used to taking running backs in the early rounds, i went with the flow and drafted wide receivers. guess what, i'm in first place. i have a roster mix of elite and consistent receivers but this week a few of them are going up against really tough defenses.
percy harvin vs tampa bay wes welker vs st. louis calvin johnson vs seattle larry fitzgerald vs san francisco josh gordon vs san diego
(currently on the bench since bye week) jeremy maclin vs atlanta
i think i have to put in jeremy maclin, but who do i sit?

I may leave Maclin on the bench. Or maybe sit Fitz vs SF in a low scoring divisional game? I'd hate for that to come back to haunt me, though. Gordon is pretty hot right now, sitting him for Maclin might look right on paper but that could also come back to kick you in the nuts. Tough choice..

don't sit your stars, period. Fitz will perform vs SF b/c it's a MNF divisional game.
I would only consider sitting Gordon as Philly should put up points this weekend.
gordon has four touchdowns in the last three games, so i don't know if i could sit him. i compare him to last year's torrey smith, he is a deep threat receiver.
really a tough decision because i think maclin can blow up this game.
