Gonna have to take that one. I get the draw and outright loss by a goal for for less than -200?
While Chile has never beaten Spain in 10 previous games (2 draws 8 losses), Spain's biggest scare in the previous World Cup in 2010 came from...you guessed it, Chile, in a 2-1 Spain victory.
Advantages as to why Chile can keep this within a goal:
1) They play a somewhat similar style to the Netherlands so the very style that scored 5 on Spain will be seen again.
2) There has to be some changes in the works for Spain and possible outright panic if Chile takes a lead. Adjustments = learning curve = lower scoring = closer final
3) Obvious one - where is the WC being played? Refs if anything will favor a country on their continent (arguable but still defendable on my part).
4) 2-2 tie fresh in their heads - in an international friendly on 9/10/2013, Spain needed a late goal in stoppage time to deny chile a major 2-1 upset.
5) Favorites have been mauling the books and the public has been reaping in the dough. The world champs will be heavily bet on by the public as they expect a huge bounce back here. Chile has easily proven they can hang with this team and has looked very solid in the WC this far.
With 1.5 goals, I cannot leave this on the table getting the draw and a loss and still having a chance to win.
CHILE +1.5 (-180) over Spain

Can't see how others don't find this attractive as well. Yes Spain will come to play. But +1.5 is LARGE in these games and chile is such a big underdog -180 screams for a side to be taken.

Spain's backs are against the wall and I expect them to play like it. Chile will be pushing forward on attack all game and spain will capitalize on the counter. Because of their high attacking rate I do expect them to get a goal... BOL and as always lets beat the books!

Spain Wins/O2.5 1U to win 1.3U
Exact Score 2-1 0.5U to win 3.4U
Spain/Croatia 2U to win 3.5U

Didn't put my whole account on it but enough to offset the heavy juice.
This was much like the Kings series price over the Rangers which was only slightly better in ML price.
Can't believe Bovada offered this but I have to say again and again, if you love dogs, Bovada is where it is at. Best dog lines in the business (although this one was buried in the site but once I found it, I pounded it).
Despite the outright win, +1.5 goals is tremendous. I have to look for more of these.

Damn Scal, after NBA and NHL ended, I forgot you existed for a few days. Would've been all over this with ya. I'm kicking myself even more because I actually watched this whole game. Nice call, hope to see more World Cup bets from you. I definitely prefer watching it over stickball

Lmb - honestly, I'm not crazy in the least about futures
for the WC winner. I love Brazil in general as a team (but they are weaker) and now of corse it's in Brazil so you have the refs but the odds are atrocious, 3-1 I see right now.
That is trash. So no futures bet for me and I just play em as I see em (very very few though) on the WC as the drop off is pretty steep beyond that. (Btw, Germany is a solid futures bet if I had to make one).
@old - couldn't believe it when I saw it and that Spain had become such a favorite, the alternate lines became ridiculously bettable.
@figgety - I know the feeling betting chile before the game like you had. (Chile win + draw odds) just weren't high enough to pull the trigger but in retrospect it is obvious that was a tremendous bet for much better odds. Still, -180 isn't birdseed of a payout if you go bigger with the insurance of 1.5 goals.
