England just being England again

Well you knew this was due to happen. Every single time in their history when England has gone up against a team better or of their equal they always implode. From the Beckham and Rooney Red Cards, to Seaman caught off his line to the demolition of Germany this team just cannot get lucky once. Sure they put themselves in perfect position and lost to Belgium as they should have. But this was a great run by England that re established England football but let’s be realistic they are in the semifinals simply because of the easy draw. Nothing to write home about. When they were on the grasp of the finals they spit the bit and chocked the lead away. Then when they were staring at PK again they choked that away. 

Modric and team used English social media posts and articles and the "it's coming home" song as bulletin board fodder to fire up their team. You can Google it. Although the England/Colombia match was ugly - for both sides although only the Colombia head butt is remembered; see 10th and or 12th minute - had James played or a few calls had not gone all to England Colombia would have lost to Croatia yesterday instead of England.

But I digress...

Modric thought the English were celebrating their world cup final match a little to early and that the English media was disrespectful to Croatia
