Crazy odds here, as Kroos as hands down been the best all round player in the tourney and will win if Germany wins today unless Mueller has a huge game. Rodriguez will likely win the golden boot, so he's out of contention. Anybody who actually knows soccer knows Messi has not been that amazing here.
Just as Forlan was given the Golden Ball in 2010 and Zidane in 2006 for being a combination of all round player who got some goals as well, Kroos has been the engine of the German team and has a pair of goals as well.
He was 18-1 earlier this week, but has been pounded down because real followed of the game know that this award is actually given to the best all around player, rather than simply the top scorer or biggest name.
