WC Alternative Spread lines

Question

Can someone briefly explain the alternative spread lines?

I see alternative spread lines for WC games that have the favored team with -.25, -.5, and -.75 lines.

In terms of soccer, when you consider a -.25, -.5, and -.75 line they imply the same outcome: winning by 1 goal or more. So why do these lines have different odds? I am a bit confused...

when its its 1.25 for example half your bet is at 1 and half at 1.5 so on and so fourth

so if you took bosnia &#x2B;.75 for 500 half of your wager is &#x2B;1 250 &#x2B;.5 250 so if they lost by 1 you would lose 250
