Can someone briefly explain the alternative spread lines?
I see alternative spread lines for WC games that have the favored team with -.25, -.5, and -.75 lines.
In terms of soccer, when you consider a -.25, -.5, and -.75 line they imply the same outcome: winning by 1 goal or more. So why do these lines have different odds? I am a bit confused...
