anyone taking an early futures on the 2022 WC in Qatar? I plan on making a decent sized wager on Belgium right now. I thought they were clearly the best team in the field that ran into a bad break when Menuier was suspended and Roberto was forced to play Chadli on the wings, who was absolutely dreadful. Also Carassco and Fellini should have been flipped with Maroune coming off the bench. Either way I expect a chip on Belgium’s shoulder just like France had after losing 16’ Euro.

Explain to me How is it dumb? Belgium beat a top 3 team in Brazil, lost to France only because of a suspended player and handled England handily twice. If Roberto had done the smart thing and taken a draw vs England he would have been guaranteed the finals and had Menuier ready to play.

I agree with "Doubleadownon12". This is good thoughts about future. But the concept of "guarantee", sometimes, it can be risky.

First, one is assuming you are making a wager where your money will be tied up.
Basic math will tell you that your first analysis must be the amount you could make with that money in investments or interest must be less than the difference between a Belgium future bet now and close to the cup.
In other words, do you anticipate that Belgium's odds will plummet and why? If you cannot answer that, then tying money up for nearly three years is simply an untenable act.

Well, right about now we should be enjoying the WC, but not this year. Thanks Qatar. (insert flaming hot emoji here. lol)
I still can't wait, but I imagine the casual U.S. fan will have little interest this year, with the tournament in the midst of the football season, and Thanksgiving.

I got Spain to win it at +800. Not an "early" bet... One made just a month ago.
Spain should be solid once again, with Manage Luis Enrique left w/ some hard choices who makes the team. Take your pick from a litter of home grown talent in La Liga, though the same could be said just about every WC for Spain. Lol.
I'm hoping he picks the best players for the team, and not just the ones that have got Spain there "before." i.e. Ramos, and instead lean towards equally good younger talent. Their "Tiki-Taka" style has been plagued in past tournaments by dominating possession, but a lack of killer instinct w/ quality strikers. If memory serves correct, they were better able to balance their possession style and striker scoring ability in more recent years.
We shall see.. In any event, can't wait !!

Belgium should finish first in their Group and reach the knockout stage at the 2022 World Cup. They have odds of -150 to win Group F and -700 to advance out of Group F. Overall, on BTC365 FIFA Betting page, they've predicted the odds to be +1200. Many are calling this Belgium's "golden generation" last shot at winning silverware. The biggest problem they'll have to overcome in Qatar is an aging defense with a lack of quality talent coming through the youth national sides. One possible solution is switching to a four-man defense, but that is unlikely under coach Roberto Martínez who has favored a back three throughout his managerial career. Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard have fallen out of favor at their respective clubs. The pair will have suitors in the summer transfer window, and a change of scenery could reignite their form in time for Qatar. With Belgium's deep pool of talent, they are always a dark horse candidate in international tournaments. But this may be their last chance to win it all with this group of players. So bettors beware, Belgium could be a team to watch out for come World Cup 2022. For more visit BTC365.com
